Lovely to see the boat restoration but I have a few remarks . The engines I believe were originaly Perkins 4108/Enfield set up . I may be wrong but your boat having Volvo Penta units are very expensive . My own boat is an RLM Bahama's very similar and from 1971 and I get the perkins engines using just 1 gallon per hour on full (9knots) power So it makes a lot of sense to keep these old boats running for people who cant afford the mega money boats . Also , the Volvo Penta legs on your boat are astronomical in costs to keep running properly whereas my Enfields cost me less than £40 for a full service parts kit .

I think this X95 one is too much. It is not pleasant for the eyes. The X80 version is actually beautiful, maybe even perfect

I've always loved Princess powerboats... This is a first for me, I just don't get the design here...a big departure from what's come before and it feels a bit "the kings new clothes" to me.. I'm at a loss to understand the crowd mentality that this is all wow. It isn't to me, but hey, who cares right????

The volume is very impressive for the length so the design will be subjective. And it’s owner operated, no manning requirements. With load line length being sub 24m even tho it’s LOA is around 28m

Thank you very much for your reply, I have a question is it the Princess S78 is 80' in my knowledge Seakeeper 16 is for yacht or boat from 60’ - 69’ therefore the most recommend Seakeeper will be (Seakeeper 26) that is for Yacht or boat from 70' - 84’

Dear Hector, in this case, length does not matter, but the weight of the boat. The S78 weighs about 49,500 kg. Seakeeper 16 is the best suited for vessels up to 50 tons and Seakeeper 26 for vessels up to 75 tons. The Seakeeper 26 has also bigger size, and the space limitation in the engine room does not allow it to be placed there. The difference in the level of stabilization between them is negligible, which means that Seakeeper 16 is the optimum size for the S78 especially because the yacht has a low metacentre and is not prone to swinging like on similar flybridge yachts. The Seakeeper 26 is 2 times heavier than the Seakeeper 16, subsequently, the load will be much more for the aft part and will slow down the yacht, especially if you put on it another tender and a hydrocycle.
