I found out I have Myositis, specifically Antisynthetase Syndrome. It's like Lupus or MS, as my muscles are attacked along with my lungs. I went in the doctor thinking arthritis, 1 year later after tons of bloodwork and xrays and CTs, I found out I have this nonsense. I have started gping back to the gym, because Im not going down without a fight. Itst scary, as it could become lift threatening if not managed, and even then could still be. But I'm just starting thia journey. I thought I was going crazy with sudden weakness when walking or running, then tripping all the time or choking a lot. Luckily my lungs are okay right now. Hoping I never have to go into a wheelchair or be on oxygen. Sorry for the errors. I should have used voice to text. I have hand weakness right now.

You go girl…simply for continuing to try and take care of yourself! Have you thought about fast or speed walking, instead of running? I have found that intense fitness like running, releases a lot of cortisol! Anywho, I wish you the best of luck, but you got this!!!

You this girl! I came down with Bell’s Palsy a few years ago when I was pregnant with my first child. And I was not able to get treatment for it because they were concerned with how it would affect my baby. I’m still not able to fully control my eye and the left side of my face, and I still have spasms, so I definitely empathize with you. Just know that you’re strong, and give yourself grace as you navigate your new norm❤❤❤

Question! I’m 5’7, 123 lbs and I’ve only burned 160 calories… I did everything just like in the workout, but I’m kind of disappointed, like did I do the exercices wrong or what could it be? I really wanted to burn around 500 calories.😢
