if a 20 was like a 12 i wouldnt have people (probably like you) who still cant do affixes or mechanics or use a defensive.

Thanks for watching! It actually wasn't so bad, all things considered! The rogue died from orbs, the Aug was a combination of bad placement in dispels/drops, and it was the same with the mage - who I guess can't tell the difference between light and dark sides lol ... luckily the tank stayed on point for the most part, when he gets hit by orbs I tend to need CDs to compensate for it. this was never really the boss I considered to be panic-inducing, that was always 3rd boss! the Blight dot does a ton of dmg on Tyrannical and people are constantly forgetting to use personal CDs. 🙁

Guess priest can solo those adds then with shackle as well.

Thanks for watching! I chose Shackle over Dominate Mind because DM has a 30 second CD and I was tired of the Incorporeal being CC'd just as I took it, rendering it useless anyway. Shackle has no CD so I can recast it on the 2nd Incorporeal if a DPS gets to there first. It's simply more convenient for pugging to use Shackle.

@@TheGoatLocker if you talent into both, you can definitely solo the affix but since it's a group affix I prefer to allow my DPS to help take care of it. The same goes for Afflicted - with our Dispel and Power Word: Life we can technically solo the affix but it's not a healer affix, it's a group affix, so I clear 1 Afflicted with PWL and if the DPS don't want to clear the 2nd, they can suffer through the haste debuff. This is only really an issue in lower keys, once you get to 18+ the DPS are better at helping with the various affixes and this becomes less of an issue.

We should have reset the first boss after the hunter died, we just didn't have the dps to kill him before the next phase change. I was pretty frustrated that the more important casts weren't being interrupted because it's fortified and bursting, so it's that much harder to heal and dispel through it all when I'm also prepping for bursting stacks. I think we still could have timed it, despite the ~5 minutes wasted on the 1st boss if we hadn't wiped on that last trash pull as well from a lack of interrupts. But the tank and I went back in with a different set of dps right after and got my last portal so it was a good night overall 😊

I play with the same tank (and his 3 other tank alts, mostly on mid-teen keys), and there's a rogue who you'll notice drops in often, but everyone else is a pug! We kept the same group for the 20 Fall and 20 Everbloom last night since 2 of the dps were carrying a friend and the rogue in their group was really good. Thanks for watching!!

I'm glad you're enjoying my videos! 😊 To answer your questions: I've been playing Holy Priest since Vanilla and prefer it to healing as Disc, I don't believe in playing a certain class or spec simply because it's meta or popular so I just play what I enjoy. 😅 Technically speaking, we've gotten a few buffs in recent months so we're in a much better place than we were last season so I feel pretty good about what I can handle in a key. Socially speaking, I've never had any complaints about my healing or my spec, I'm usually the one asking people to do better with interrupts and using their defensives. I haven't really pvp'd since Vanilla as I don't enjoy it and I'm aware of how the toxicity against healers has gotten progressively worse over the years. In general, I think we should be buffed, but I'm not unhappy with where we're at and it's clear that all healing classes are viable in high keys so unless you're doing CE keys there's no reason to choose one healing class over another in anything under a 25.
