Why don't these ass hat scientists and imagineers pass the hat to fund their passions instead of demanding and expecting working class people to fork over money for their bright ideas? This whole thing and MOST of what NASA does is a waste of time, and just build their ambitions to spend ever larger amounts of money in the next round. Has anyone else noticed that the thumbnail looks like the twitter birdie exploding?

Jupiter reversing and "plowing" through the Asteroid Belt in the direction of the Sun, and then reversing again taking Jupiter's current orbit is questionable. They think this "now" because the majority of stars with planets in the universe are stars with gas giants where Earths should be. Again making gas giants closer to their star and not allowing Earth like planets. Also if Jupiter plowed through the Asteroid Belt moving closer to the sun, Jupiter would probably have taken the Earth's building materials, Mars materials, maybe Venus and the majority of the Asteroid Belt back on Jupiter return trip because of the pull of Saturn and at least some help from the other Blue Planets. If someone can explain this I would be Thank Full to them.

From 1:12 onwards for a couple of minutes. I thought I'd just throw my Theory in to the mix about how Mercury ended up the size it is and how the composition of planetary materials came to be as well where the rest of it went, and how it ended up in the position it orbits the Sun in at present. I theorise that Mercury was much larger although made up at its surface with much lighter materials, and so as it was pushed out of its orbit by Jupiter, its was sent on a trajectory towards the Sun, but nit before encountering a young earth, of which it collided with earth causing material to be stripped from Mercury as it glanced earth causing that material to coalesce in to our moon, also increasing the mass of earth at the same time and also sending the much denser outer and inner core on towards the Sun, with Mercury ending up where she is today. I guarantee no one at NASA has has or even had plans thought or even a theory on this like my theory. Remember where you heard it first in case NASA steels my theory for one of its own.

And here I was thinking that we have been genetically engineered by Aliens over the years of our existence, Millions of years ahead of our current understanding of what life is capable of, by the way they communicate, travel across the Universe, for we humans are like toddlers trying to figure out how to connect to the internet without a password. 😊

I can see in the distant future, we will be collecting fuel from Saturn on our way out of the Solar System to visit another solar system, hydrogen powered ships etc. We shant be running out of that stuff for a very long time.

Friction over eons= heat. Maybe.

Closer to sun and size could factor in what gases escape from planet. This far out methane would be cold as and being the most volitile could rase to top of atmosphare. Rock etc hitting it would be cooled quickly . Sinking more than whaking the surface. The gas could be a thicker layer than other planets.
