You gotta love (or pity) the cyclists who dress like they're in the Tour de France. If most of them realised they're actually being laughed at they may think twice.

@OnYourLeft25 днів тому
Where I live, cyclists must stop, but once stopped, may proceed through the red light if the other light or the walk signal goes through two cycles while waiting. But that doesn't stop some cyclists from just blatantly blowing through the red lights and stop signs as if they don't apply. Stopping for red and for stop signs makes you stronger. A lot stronger.

@bendawson8601Місяць тому
Difficult one this. I agree that everyone should have 100% difficulty. But your mates right and you’re definitely talking shite. 300 watts is 300 watts and riding a fixie up a hill slowly is just daft! 😂
@alistair4102 місяці тому
2 guys riding up a hill at 100% trainer difficulty, one has a 24 max cog on the rear and the other has a 32 max cog. The one with the 24 max cog is at a disadvantage, so to gain some virtual extra cogs you can turn the difficulty down a bit. I think development along the virtual road gets less as you turn the difficulty down.

it depends on who you are. I can do it because im extremely adapted to this kind of stuff, i ride all bike disciplines and was a sponsored skater. ive never broken a limb, the few times ive been hit by cars i mitigate it, never putting myself in a situation i have no control over. slowly building skill before recklessly sending whatever, (why send that which you do not understand?) you just have to be a certain kind of person, and no none of us are doing this in densely populated areas. chill with the negative assumptions or youll be one of those people freaking out in public on a tik tok video Edit: I also go on long forest night rides without lights, eat me

@damianlangston92262 місяці тому
I don't think it make a difference. If, there were no changing of gears. Then 100% is harder for sure. But, since you can change gears. There is zero to very minimal difference. @100% you'll use small ring more. @0% you'll use big ring. and, the rear will be shifted. Riding in the same gear is impractical. So, it doesn't matter. 0-100 is offset by the gearing. Where it would matter is out at the extremes. Where you're grinding downhill @52x10 you may be able to produce a slightly higher wattage. Your friend is dead-on. It only matters at an extreme.

Does it have long term.side effects? I work consteuction, this could seriously benefit me and my production rates! Habing more stamina theougout the day would be a game changer.
@peterconnors52593 місяці тому
You may gain more stamina but I don’t think your body would recover at a normal rate assuming a constantly increased workload. Construction is already hard on the body and epo may tip you over the balance point of what is sustainable for your self. I used to work on a farm and drank excess amounts of caffeine so this is where my experience is coming from. This is also my bro science take so don’t take it too seriously :P
@mennonitemoto59413 місяці тому
@peterconnors5259 thanks for your thoughts. It's hard to not give in to the caffeine for me too. We drink butt loads of water all day in the summer,
@mickbmx3 місяці тому
I agree hills don't exist at 0% so you've just deleted that experience out of Swift. so group rides won't feel the same as some users change gears and others don't have that struggle.
@gkuok2243 місяці тому
Watts are watts, but how its delivered is what matters. If you have a crit bike with close gear ratios, you aint climbing. So you will need to turn down the difficulty so your big cog 26T now acts bigger. The climb is still 10% but you can now spin more on your gears to deliver whatever pw you desire. 200w at 90rpm is the same 200w at 50rpm. But you can increase the rpm to feel easier switching from using different muscle group and aerobic systems. What the argument is that what if you have only 1 gear in the video, then of course, the same 10% will feel different depending on the size of your gear. And thats why we have gears to adjust to the cadence to the power we need. 80 rpm with 36T is different at 80 rpm with 27T. Zwift should call their trainer difficulty ==>more digital gears, less digital gears instaed.
