I like it, but it also scares me. Just imagine you were there in the place of the image, and these sounds were all you could hear. You look out the window to see absolutely nothing, not even stars. You've drifted too far into space. Then suddenly, you hear rushing footsteps running at you from behind. Lol.

If only the real life Jimsonweed, and Henbane flowers were like this... Sadly, they do NOT give you the incredible happiness and freedom of the "Bliss" in the game... They give you horrific visions, nightmares that lasts for days, or a week, and side effects that can eventually kill you if you consume too many leaves or seeds.

“Sounds like those Jerry bastards are gettin pounded hard.” I ducked down out of the rain into the fighting hole my squad and I made for ourselves; the faint din of gunfire and artillery rumbling across the cold night while God himself pissed on our heads. “Yeah, let’s just fuckin hope they don’t come this way; I’d like to get some fuckin shut eye at least before Fritz tries to ram a bayonet down my throat and out my ass.” I scoffed and cackled at Dabowitz’s irritated remark, leaning back against the muddy earth of our fighting hole and making a disgusted face at the feeling of it soaking into my fatigues. Fuck this place; I hoped we’d catch this war up soon so I could go home to my wife, dodgin bullets got old real fast. “As if we’d be that lucky; honestly I got a running bet with O’Hara that a stray Jerry shell’s gonna take out our little foxhole before sunrise. Ain’t that right Seaney boy?” I cackled again when O’Hara groaned in his sleep; giving me the bird while I pulled out my matchbook to light up a smoke. Ah Goddamnit! Fuckin soaked through. “Looks like it’s gonna be another long night boys; probably for the best anyway, rather not have a Kraut take my fuckin head off.” “Could be worse; could be freezing our asses off like the Krauts were last Christmas in the Motherland.” Tch; like this was much better, and I looked at Shepard, watching as he tried in vain to get a tarp set up over our field radio, and hearing him curse under breath all the while. “Honestly I’m wondering if I’d rather take the freezing snow over this fuckin rain. Might as well give up on getting that radio working Mikey; not like we’re gonna be able to get anything out in this weather anyway.” I agreed with Dabowitz while Shepard continued to curse under breath a few moments more, before chucking the tarp at the radio in soggy frustration. “Oh fuck this! I’d have a better time trying to scrub the fucking commodes back at base with my tongue!” That got a chuckle out of Dabowitz and I for a second or two; but after we immediately went back to perking our ears toward the firefight in the distance. “Least O’Hara’s comfy, sleeping in our only dugout like a lazy fuck. Either you boys got a light? I’m fiendin for a smoke something fierce over here.” “Join the club; my matches are soaked through, and Dabowitz probably ain’t in any better condition to help.” Shepard groaned again in annoyance, but as he settled down beside Dabowitz and rested his back against the muddy wall behind him- I could hear the faint whistle of artillery off in the distance, followed by deep booms that rattled the ground beneath us. “Holy shit, you guys fuckin feel that too?” I gave Dabo a nod, smirking in morbid victory. “Looks like I’m gonna be winning that bet after all, that’s probably gonna be on us in a couple hours time.” Was gonna be a long night for the four of us; but at least the sound of the rain helped slightly soothe our minds as the gunfire grew closer slowly and surely. “Both of you get what sleep you can; I got first watch.” “Whoa, you sure Sarge? Just you?” I shrugged, keeping my 1912 Trench at the ready just in case any Jerries getting pushed our way found our little slice of shit. “If anything happens, doubt you lardasses are gonna sleep through it. Get rest while you can boys; don’t know how much longer it’s gonna be peaceful like this.” Course peace was relative; but thankfully Dabowitz and Shepard were eager to follow the order for shut-eye; and before I knew it those motherfuckers were fast asleep, snorin like a Jeep haulin ass. Good. Shit was gonna get difficult for us before long; but for Bad Company it was just a fuckin Tuesday.

Something like a 2008 Christmas, falling asleep watching tv, blue hour in the snow. It’s like those small bittersweet memories are the ones we cherish the most, where we felt the most happiest. Skyrim with frying sound But I love it

I've played a lot of Subnautica (early access in 2016, subsequent replays once a year since release, twice after 2.0 came out) and normally put my base here in the grassy plateau - To the point where, when I've re-played the game without putting my base here (I even made a floating island base, with a large room across the archway and a long ladder tube which went down to a moonpool in the sea), I ended up missing it. I've probably spent hundreds of real life hours here experiencing this virtual environment. It kind of feels like home. :)
