"The capitalist system is what creates suffering" is an easy thing to claim as one sits comfortably in one's 4 million dollar house.

We need to accept the uncertainty in life. It requires freedom from judgementaliy and bises. As such everything in life either miracles or everything is just routine.

I’m reading these comments and I’m like how is this going over people’s head. He’s clearly stated that ‘adversity’ is where actual growth comes from. But people abandon the process before they can get the results. Why? Because it gets too uncomfortable because of stress. Hence, actual progressional growth cannot take place.

Of course all those things are on a continuum but between this and that it’s within the norms of a certain society! Even criminal behavior is on a continuum, everyone breaks some law some time! But there’s definitly norms you can follow and thereby act normal!! If you don’t have different definition of the word normal than ”within the norms”.

"We did okay kid!" Yes we did! Makes my eyes water.....😢Great inspirational words from a source I would have otherwise considered unlikely. Google "The Chinese Farmer" by Alan Watts, This parable dovetails nicely into Anthony Hopkins outlook on life.

I am in a cognitive behaviour group to help me with the feelings of anxiety I experience and your name has come up in our sessions. This was an excellent meditation. I did feel like I was drifting off a few times but it was a wonderful feeling to be this relaxed. Now it is my homework to not judge my experience. Thank you very much for sharing this. 😊🙏☮️

:40 is profound. It speaks to the very solid truth that "crazy" as defined in Western Culture is really about not fitting into their "systems" optimally. Its like a 7 foot basketball player trying to live in a society of dwarfs. These misfits are shuttled off to the circus if its the 18th century. 19th to the gulags. 20th they are drugged to zombies. Today they are told their problem is systemic discrimination of which you cannot fix. All the while its really a simple question of somebody who does not belong in this club.

In this connection let us read a very nice verse from the Bible: Ephesians 4:31-32 “Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, quarreling, and slander be put away from you, along with all hatred. And be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another just as God has forgiven you in the Messiah.” Now, let us look at some ways how a person can enhance and increase their compassion and kindness. On a practical level, most people think of themselves first. And then perhaps some relatives and friends. This is often where it ends. In order to cultivate compassion and kindness, a person can make a commitment to try to do some random acts of kindness to at least one other living being every day. Without expecting anything in return. We should not want to be acknowledged, rewarded or even thanked. The more a person do this, the more they will like it. It actually feels really nice because it is in harmony with our spiritual nature to be kind and compassionate. By developing some spiritual awareness and appreciation, we can begin to feel others. It is so important that we try to see what we have in common with others, and not always notice some differences. As I begin to experience a commonality with others, one will automatically a sadness for the suffering of all other beings. Bodily identity divides people. With spiritual vision we see the true equality of all living beings. We see that we are all in the same situation, the experience of temporary happiness and distress in this world. That we are all longing for the same type of joy, peace, purpose. True compassion must be based on wisdom and knowledge. We must know who others really are and what is best for them eternally. We often give the example of someone who gives money to a homeless person, thinking that they helped them. But if the homeless person just uses the money to buy some drugs, then we have done them no good. Go out of your way to see people in need. This really helps a person to have a reality check of what happens in this world. We often don’t see this in the news, and often we do not want to see the suffering of others. But when a person goes to an orphanage, it is very heart breaking to see young children without parents. Or one can go to a home for the ages. We see what happens to the body when it gets old. And maybe no one is visiting some of them anymore. They often just wait to die. One can also go to hospitals or funerals in order to become more compassionate and kind to others. In this connection we would like to share the story of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola. He has had vast wealth through businesses in the oil, gas and shipping industries. In his words, “I have gone through four stages of happiness in life and finally I understood the meaning of true happiness. The first stage was to accumulate wealth and means. But at this stage, I did not get the happiness I wanted.”“Then came the second stage of collecting valuables and items. But I realized that the effect of this thing is also temporary and the luster of valuable things does not last long. Then came the third stage of getting big projects. That was when I was holding 95% of the diesel supply in Nigeria and Africa. I was also the largest vessel owner in Africa and Asia. But even here I did not get the happiness I had imagined.”“The fourth stage was the time a friend of mine asked me to buy a wheelchair for some disabled children. Just about 200 kids. At the friend’s request, I immediately bought the wheelchairs. But the friend insisted that I go with him and hand over the wheelchairs to the children. I got ready and went with him.”“There I gave these wheelchairs to these children with my own hands. I saw the strange glow of happiness on the faces of these children. I saw them all sitting on the wheelchairs, moving around, and having fun. It was as if they had arrived at a picnic spot where they are sharing a jackpot winning.”“I felt real joy inside me. When I decided to leave one of the kids grabbed my legs. I tried to free my legs gently but the child stared at my face and held my legs tightly. I bent down and asked the child: Do you need something else? The answer this child gave me not only made me happy but also changed my attitude to life completely.”This child said: “I want to remember your face so that when I meet you in heaven, I will be able to recognize you and thank you once again.”This is quite a revelation. Here is someone who is able to enjoy anything possible here in this world. All kinds of properties, travel, luxuries, fame, power and so on. And yet his happiest experience came from a time when he showed compassion and kindness to some handicapped children. The happiness he experienced is a spiritual type of happiness. This is much deeper than material pleasures because it directly touches the soul. And the happiness he experienced is just the beginning. There is so much more anyone will experience as they make their whole life centered around pleasing the Supreme Lord.

Agreed on the part of waking up the next day of reading about yourself in the newspaper , lots of youth want to post up videos about themselves on social media just to check how many followers and comments they revived , especially women looking only for validation , TIC TOC , I G , Facebook , Snapchat , dating apps , clear examples ! It's a false reality ! A false idea !

This is such an interesting and important message! Living in the moment, having the intention to live in the right now, basing our attitude on the present moment, even if the issues we encounter trigger hurtful or vindictive feelings about the past. This is difficult to do but I imagine it becomes second nature if you practice enough.

The frequencies released at the finale of this video felt like a refreshing switch of a lightbulb. The thoughts being the light source, being powered by electricity; and the darkness resulting from the switch--emptied to be a space that my thoughts frequent. A space much like that of the black matter that encapsulates our planet and expands throughout our universe. To me in that moment, being within this space wasn't so much like I was occupying it but one with it. I'm looking around my room, taking in my surrounding as if they are foreign.

There is an intelligence in nature and creation that, if we ignore, we create suffering for ourselves and others. Aligning with that intelligence (for e.g. in ways that manifest compassion, connection and love) is how we're meant to be.
