You have to wonder what version of "puppy" goes through a dog's mind when introduced to a baby for the first time.

We had a Dobie back between 1979 and 1986, and she was the kindest, most gentle soul I've had the pleasure to know in my life. She was skittish, and was afraid of a lot of things (like farts), but she could make me laugh, or feel like I wasn't alone. She comforted me one night when I was feeling so lonely I thought I would die. She died of heart failure one night when I was at work, and I didn't find out until the next day. I miss her so much to this day. Her memory always makes me smile.

Playing with a broom. That was one in a million.

I adore their vocals and especially their smiles. I miss the ones I've had the pleasure to share life with. They are awesome!!
