The moment Germaine started reading her letter and Azura started crying, I couldn't stop crying too 😭 I wonder how y'all managed to prevent the sniffles from getting caught by the mic, veryyy professional 😭I was totally like nose blocked and sniffing with tears all the way till the end of this episode 🫠 Azura's perspectives in this episode really spoke out to me, wanted to give her a hug 🫂🥺 My mum passed away 13 years ago after battling with a chronic illness for more than 10 years. Every year when Mothers' day approaches, I will spend conscious effort to avoid IG and Facebook at all costs, because I know I am going to cry or feel emotional when I see my friends posting about their mothers every year and how their mothers are going through different life milestones with them. It's sad to know that (as what Germaine mentioned) my mum will never be able to meet my current partner, see how I look like when I grew up as an adult, what I am working as now, how much I wanted to recreate her delicious recipes etc... I've written letters for her every Mothers' day since I was young, which she kept all of them till she passed on. I remembered penning a letter for her a few years ago, knowing that she won't be able to read it, and I just kept that letter in my bag for many years until I had to change to a new bag 😅after watching this episode, I guess it's time that I should pen another letter for her again :) Thank you for producing such a meaningful episode 💖I guess the word "mother" will always be something that will tug at our heartstrings no matter how old we become :")
