I was working at a California Tower Records location when John Lennon was shot and killed. On the next day (mid-morning) after his death, one of my work mates requested of me to conduct a moment of silence in tribute to him at 2pm. I do not remember everything I said, However I do recall expressing my heartfelt thanks to his greatness (along with the Beatles) for the musical joy and harmony he brought to our planet. I loved tved the Beatles , and I loved/luved John Lennon. Thanks Mark Swann for asking of me that day.

Fun fact: Yoko Ono abused and used him. She would sit outside there house everyday and even spy on john (this was when he was married and already had his own kid). One day after John’s wife came back from a trip, Yoko was in there house with john in his wife’s bathrobe.. after Yoko and john got married she would still abuse him. I think she hired an assassin so she could get his inheritance.🤔 Most of that may be wrong but thats what i remember slightly…

I've read many times that Paul's reaction is blasé, uncaring and downright cold, but watching it for the first time I completely disagree. He is clearly numb and shocked. He gives short, curt responses to every (invasive) question. When he says that it's a drag he is just defaulting to the language of his youth, underplaying it and even using a bit of humour - as did George with his 'he was still dead in the morning' comment.
