i bought an apple watch this week and am strongly considering taking it back given I also own a garmin Epix. 1. Garmin also has a button that finds the iphone with the same tone that the apple watch does. Granted the garmin doesn't have a proximity reading but i've never needed it, the audible sound is more than enough to quickly locate the phone. 2. Garmin has continuous heart rate tracking. Apple samples the HR every 4 minutes or so, unless you actively scroll the menu and take a measurement. Easy win for garmin. 3. Garmin also has NFC payment, though in Australia I couldn't get it to work. But I always carry my phone. Win for apple here. 4. Drive through (being a right hand drive country) is cumbersome with the watch on my left hand, so I dont use it. Equally I don't use garmin either. 5. Garmin is vastly superior in stress / body battery / workout metrics. Garmin adjusts suggested workouts based on HRV, sleep quality, resting HR, previous exercise. Apple advises the same regardless of the situation even when sick. It's the biggest drawback by far, and is the reason i'm considering going back the the garmin. 6. Hard to say which is the better sleep tracker in terms of accuracy, but garmin stays charged for 2 weeks, whereas I have had to delay going to bed when I notice the apple watch is 14% charged. 7. Garmin has an ECG feature but not outside the US. Win for apple here. 8. Epix flashlight being LED is significantly better (and much quicker to access) than the apple screen being white. Easy win for garmin 9. The main benefit for apple watch is situations where you don't have your phone, you can still make calls, send texts etc.

Sorry but you are really wrong: 1. Software updates: you're getting 5 years with the Samsung. Not to say that with IOs if you don't make the updates after that, you're phone will be useless as with the Android you can still use it with the previous features.The iPhones don't have any value when the updates stop, so you're very wrong mate ! 2. Vibration and haptic feedback ? You can adjust that on an Android, Samsung especially. On the IPhone, not really. By the way, that haptic feedback turn on option,it's old mate, really old 😅... on the Androids that is, on you're iPhone, might be new yeah ! 3. Why would you even want to flip the mute switch ? You have modes on Android ! It turns you're phone into vibrate or whatever you want as you scheduled it, no need for any interaction 😂 4. Google One manages you're photos, no problem ! No point here! 5. Third party camera, neah, try the Samsung, you can even set the image behind you, blur, or do whatever you want in real time. Iphone is ages to that. "VIDEO IS VERY SIMILAR THAN SAMSUNG QUALITY" 😅 , no comments! On the Samsung you have HDR and RAW .. iPhones don't even store RAW, so neah ! 😅 6. BATTERY life, that's hilarious ! 😅😅😅😅 You have 6 hours SOT with the regular S23, or 24 hours with some 2 hours SOT. On Istuff ... small batteries and if you keep it in the sun, will crash for minutes !!! 6. Eco-sistem: neh man ! 😅😅😅 that's shit! And Facetime is an old platform that no one wanted to buy ! 😂😂😂 None of the mentioned is superior to anything! Everything is available to anyone man, you just don't know ! Cheers
