The increase in earnings doesn't tell the whole story, because it leaves out debt. While college is not a scam, in the sense that you do get something valuable out of it, the insane increases in tuition costs over the past two decades have made it's value meaningless unless you actually get a doctorate and get a job that requires a doctorate. Because otherwise the interest on the debt you accrue will outweigh the increase in pay over the course of your life. Fortunately, there are other educational opportunities out there that aren't nearly as costly, like vocational schools. That said, the way this guy sneers at education or work is in and of itself quite disgusting, even without considering that he's trying to sell a scam on top of that.
