As a CG animator on features and games for 30 years, it is so painful to see blenders graph/dope sheet, that is such a horrible way to animate, it makes me so sad to see that. Maya is the gold standard, and the graph/timeline/keyframe in blender should be made to match it. Blender is basing it off antiquated flash timelines and it is slow, and clunky to use, it's totally innificient, and there is a reason maya is used by all game/animation studios and it isnt because alias keeps updating animation tools (it does not very often). Blender community, i emplore you to demand the core blender to model its animation UI of of Maya's.

Can anyone else actually keep up with all he's saying and all the click, click, clicks he does? And all these thousands of operations to make a fake city that has buildings in real locations but looking nothing like the originals. If I'm going to duplicate a real city, I want the buildings to look like they do in real life, not just slap random windows on them and random junk on the roofs. He talks too fast and moves too fast. UKposts has no way to freeze frame on a particular frame so you can see what he's doing. I have a huge monitor, but the menus and stuff he's clicking on the left of his screen are too tiny to read. He's failing at what the word "tutorial" means. I should be able to duplicate what he does and get a similar result, but there's no way in hell I can come close to duplicating it.

This is great! The quality is awesome. But i can't get it to work in any other software with textures. The materials go crazy. I've tried fbx, obj, usdc.... Is there any way to export the models with the textures? Does anybody know? That would be great!

one thing... if you use it in 2024 and above you got to choose a mode from 3 different options. Here you need to select the third option as the first and second require an API Key and from what I have worked with API(s) They are usually paid unless they are generous like Google. Instead this 3rd option doesn't require an API key hence it is Free I believe this was not told in the video and has to be mentioned If needed you can copy this comment, comment it yourself and Pin it so you can change the Comment by further Updates

Then i realized that pirating Nintendo and Microsoft products are the morally correct choice. screw this operating system , Limix isnt even hard to learn and wont take 1000% of my ram whenever it wants to do background checks.

I can't be the only one who finds this incredibly infuriating. It's meant to be easy; the voice and video don't match, the guy is saying to do stuff without telling us what to do for that part, he completely glosses over stuff expecting us to know it, and then it's just going so unbelievably quick. This is not easy nor for beginners.

I bought the add-on and followed your tutorial exactly. I selected a small area of Washington DC (around the white house) and while the image overlay is correct, the model is mostly flat, just lumps where there are buildings. Is this because DC has not been 3D scanned? I feel like I wasted my money.
