It kind of feels a bit "emperors new clothes" the latest and greatest thing that the government has jumped on and brought out these ridiculous quotas and timescales, it just not feasible and we just don't have the infrastructure for it The battery quality thing is going to be the real Achilles heel is going to be the battery health thing. Traders don't know exactly what they are dealing with, and neither really do the buyers, If a second hand EV was quoted in the selling specs as having say even 80% healthy battery, its going to have a HUGE impact on buyer deciding, especially when to replace the battery on some is £25k plus !!!!

I've got a TTR600 (now 620) it has a 20L tank, would it have enough range for theses sections?

I had a xr 650L for years. A very reliable go anywhere hog for sure! But pushing it hard in a race 🏁 would be an absolute handful with soft suspension and a chassis that flexes

One of the advantages to being fit for an endurance sport like that is many mistakes can trace their beginning to the rider being tired and sitting in the saddle when they should be standing or their arms turning to rubber when the going gets tough and being fit puts that moment off.
