For me the older brother can say nothing. He said he’d stopped using drugs 6x and lied. Then he ended up in jail 4 years but has only been clean 2 years??! The recover drug addict brother has been checked out of the restaurant when he was on drugs and for 4 extra years that he was in jail. Why didn’t he learn how to freaking cook to give his brother a break? Alcoholics and drug addicts are selfish. He is up front getting tips while his brother is in the kitchen prison and the waiter can shut up as well, he is not the prep cook so he is working hard for his tips despite the horrible food. I would be bitter as well. I would not he in business with my big brother who i looked up to but he burned me not once but 6x. So he has had a break from that restaurant. I would tell Chef Ramsey, to teach my brother to cook and I will work the front for the next 5 years or he cannot be a part if the business for a while and he is not getting paid. He did his tome in jail but not for breaking my heart. I could not believe his brother said he lost respect for his little brother bc he curled up and died after be lied to and stolen from and humiliated over and over. I would forgive him but NEVER FORGET. He has got to understand that in the normal world he would have nothing to come back to even if he was part owner. He would have been sued when he was in prison for his portion of the business because he stolen-from his partner. An ld every normal judge would have granted the petition to take everything from him. So how dare he say what he said. I am not impressed with his 3”2 year recovery either because he has been clean before. His wife is talking about he is trying to make amends. Talk is cheap! What would impress me is if my brother truly made amends by learning to cook and helping me the kitchen. that is making amends. That is where I need help. He had 4 years to learn to cook. Hell, he could be a 5 star chef by now! instead he is running around telling me my food is crap while he get an air conditioned breeze in the dining room. Hell no! He needs to really understand the situation of how good he has it and he needs to appreciate me and act out on that appreciation by lightening my workload!
