Gillian looks great. What an awesome hairstyle. I understand that she wants to move beyond the X Files, but just being reminded of that pilot- wow, that performance of hers is still so captivating. She completely embodied Dana Scully. The naivete, the intellect, and tenaciousness.

I have followed and enjoyed Ms. Anderson's career since The X Files! One thing I remember about The Fall was the complete lack of humor; she worked in an office and we never heard anyone joking around in any way, so that part didn't ring true at all.

Gillian Anderson is one of the very best actresses working today - but her career doesn't always reflect her ability, her range and audacity - her most astonishing performances are in House of Mirth and Streetcar Named Desire, two of the best onscreen performances ever IMO - give her more intricate, classical roles like this, which she can really sink her teeth into
