I don't care about X-QAM. I couldn't care less if you had 5242880-QAM nonsense. All I care about is the maximum range, the data rate at the end of that range and how many clients can be supported in a highly contested environment with hostile APs and stations. There's been zero improvement between WiFi 2 and WiFi 7 in that regard.

in my head, drawing upon a distant mechanical background, it looks like sending nuts down a bolt, each nut has a '12 o'clock marker' and it depends upon where you put that marker, in phase, out of phase, quarter phase, eighth, then when it comes to amplitude, its like sending a bigger or smaller not on that same bolt.

Thanks for this video! Pretty systematic way of doing this mentally. We can also modify this to the voltage log/dB expression of YdB = 20log(x) by changing the values in the dB column to 2x ie, 20 dB => 10 and 6dB => 2. So for example: 60dB would become: 20+20+20 = 10^3 = 1000 times And 26dB would be: 20+6 = 10*2 = 20 times Appreciate your effort to simplify this!

Time has changed and we see a new wifi standard every two years. The clients cant keep up with this. No matter all the goodness of WiFi 7 it is not a goto solution in enterprice networks. Just implementing 6E is a bitch. But I believe this will be a banger in private networks. For big business I guess we will wait for WiFi 8

Emotional closing remarks of WLPC 2024/Phoenix from Keith Parsons. This year's 10th anniversary party at #WLPC was a sentimental moment for a lot of people. The conference Keith created is like no other IT conference in the world, which is what makes it so special. The conference along with his work has not only propelled the advancement of the #WiFi industry but has also inspired a generation of professionals to dream bigger and strive harder. The conference is cool because not only is it a Wi-Fi geekfest, but it has also literally changed peoples lives. - And a lot of people attending this Wi-Fi conference have achieved great success over the years in a variety of ways. But as Keith points out.... take your own path while learning from others and "It's OK to be yourself."

I have met a lot of great troubleshooting professionals over the years, however, Karl Benedict is in a league of his own. I encourage you to watch this video as well as his 2023 WLPC presentation

You should really do better with your explanation of PSD. It's 3.16mW/MHz x <channel width in MHz> = EIRP in mW. mW x MHz does not equal mW, as you show. And you completely leave out compensating for noise floor rise when bonding channels.
