Crazy how I went from loving sleek sexy sports cars & rippin down the highway to just simply wanting to overland and crawl at snail’s pace

Do I need to grow a beard?? Every overlanding vid I see the guy always has a great beard. I’m Asian I can’t grow a beard. So I guess it’s just normal camping 😭

This is probably by far the BEST review/comparison I have seen or read anywhere last several years. Some so many ignorant people just say they are the same truck with a little luxury and a different engine. Thank you for this. Ignorant UKpostsr like @PRviewsvlogs can definitely watch and learn from this video and open his horizon that what he knows isn't everything... Thank you for doing this video. It also taught me a lot about the differences in two vehicles as I definitely noticed the driving dynamics between the two are vastly different on highways yet some don't agree. Maybe their brain and nerves may be missing some senses on their body.

They should just stop with the wireless phone charging platforms. They are usually too small, in an awkward position, are slow charging, and don't work very well, especially when driving off road.

It would be nice for the Overtrail+ to come with real leather (Saddle Tan), 3rd row seating option, 3-zone climate controls, and heated middle bench seating. That would make it perfect.

Out of the all new models Toyota/Lexus came out with, this 550 takes the cake. Thanks Kevin for this video.

It’s so nice. But I can’t help but wonder who would spend 80k on a vehicle to bash it off road? Why not just get a used 4x4 and mod it?

UKposts keeps blocking my comments about Toyota and turbos. Censorship sucks.

Actually, Toyota has a bad reputation when it comes to turbos. Remember the turbo 4 cyl truck in the 80s? Lasted 3 model years and was a POS.

They did good with the exterior design. That lack of back seat leg space is kind of nuts. I can wait to see these lifted with 35's and overland front bumpers with light bars and winches built in. I'm going to wait a few years and try to find a nice used lease return. Then I'll build it up and start putting miles on it. Best of all the new Toyota Designs.

Would love to see this added to your garage and in future videos. My next off-road buy is going to be the Bronco Raptor but this might be perfect for my wife and a great replacement for her Infiniti.

It amazes me they’ve identified a niche market of people who like overlanding, understand the need to true 4x4 features and have the type of income that allows for a $90,000 vehicle. Seems to me it’s a microscopic percentage of the population. No one is making a rugged, capable 4x4 for the masses at an affordable price. :-(

I love the messages that campers bring to the community "please leave it better than when you found it" ❤ I carry with me $2 trash picker to clean up our cg & educate the little ones the same. Hopefully they will grow up to ne responsible adults

Congrats on your GX460! I'm excited to see the build come together. I do have to admit I'm surprised you didn't get a final refresh model (2022-23), for the upgraded infotainment and other small refinements. For $25k though that is a lot of car for the money!

Loved the movie. Viewed it while enjoying breakfast and planning my trip to Overland Expo in Flagstaff. An idea came to mind when watching you rinsing down the step for the entrance to the trailer. Dual purpose velcro strips, first for a tarp to remove and shake out once at camp for the mud and dirt. Not meant to prevent muddy water as that is easier to rinse off with less water. Second for the carpet piece you placed to wipe your feet/shoes prior to entering the trailer. Thanks for sharing.

I've got a random question that someone on here should be able to answer. I'm currently considering getting into overlanding and my question is, how secure is everyone's gear that is mounted to their rigs? How easy would it be for someone to just walk up and take gear off while your vehicle was parked? I'd hate to build a rig, only to have gear stolen off of it while I was inside a store shopping or something like that.
@user-bg9tz5lt5w
@user-bg9tz5lt5w 6 днів тому
Most of the ones I watch have something that's securing the outside gear, be it padlocks or some type of locking device, similar to what is used for bikes. Some things are like a keyed locking device. Seems to depend on what it is.
