I’ve referred high school basketball for 10 years now. I’ve certainly told players and coaches “yeah I f*cked that one up”. The key is to not be saying that often, and be good at what you do. Every time I’ve had to say that, the response is always the same: “ok”, and it’s over. Be obviously good at refereeing, makes blowing a call much easier 😂
