I just had to comment this right here... For almost seven years .. from the first time I heard Poor Black Mattie by the greatest of the Hill Country masters... After countless tutorial videos by youtube instructors, countless hours of studying RL playing it.. And still just not getting it right.. Even after reaching out to his grandson Cedric and Cedric Burnside Project guitarist at the time Trenton Ayers.. And getiijg some tips from Ced and even some one on one video tutoring fom Trenton, which evolved into a real friendship to this day... I still couldn't get it right. Until just now. Five Mins ago... Sipping coffee and trying to pay along with RL on my Fender cp 60s parlor guitar.. It just clicked. If yall only knew how freaking major this is to ya boy... In bout in tears.. I gotta call Trenton :) :) :) HELL YEAH!!!!
