That had gotta be demoralizing as hell. Imagine if you were considered one of (if not) the fastest guy in your country and you trained all year to compete and then one guy just start gapping you in a 100 meter race 😂

Commentator says “pound for pound Gay is the better athlete”. Hey?? What planet is he on?? Bolt retired as the greatest athlete of all time with multiple Olympic and World championship gold metals, not to mention the 100m and 200m world records that still stand some 15 years later.

I hate how the commentator takes the time to repeat saying Justin Gatlin as “the disgraced Justin Gatlin” (around the @1:14 mark). I’m glad however Gatlin had a redemptive story in the way he ended his career!

This fatale flaw caused ripple effects to the entire class of athletes to disbar Ben Johnson's untimely win to the head of Olympics Board of Directors to hail later the underlying dishonor and herald the age of 'doping' scandals in all jargons of all types of professional athletes and post injuries (legal) battle with steroids. The catch was though, they only singled out our Canadian win and Ben Johnson's fall from grace of the WORLD RECORD time of 9.79 (four strides faster than any previous 100m) in order to not answer who else was NOT doping on the same heat. Be still with me, Today it counts and it was a win, A good win and it was only because he broke the world record it echoes its revolution in tidy ways. WOW. Thanksgiving! Gobble Gobble!

As a teenager i was a big fan of Ben Johnson that run still gives me Goosebumps even after 26 years
Bolt had what it took to hit below 9 seconds, probably 8.5 or 8.7. If only he pushed with the same enthusiasm as him fellow competitors. But i guess he was playing safe to avoid accidents, like twisting his ankles
