I lived there my whole life and they actually made us skaters raise the money for those Ramps and equipment they didn’t buy it they was gonna arrest us skaters for riding around town so they needed a place for us to go so they said hey if you raise the money we will build it and we did and that’s what they did to it!

Thank you for the additional information on Westboro Baptist. How despicable. My opinion is that churches ought to really concentrate on how well they treat any and all who visit. Jesus called the religious leaders of his day blind and told them to first clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean (Matt. 23:26).

I would argue the opposite. One of the primary issues with the westboro baptist church wasn't that they were speaking out on social issues it was they way they choose to speak out. The westboro baptists went to funerals, and in front of grieving families yelled that they were going to hell. They marched at pried festivals and told the people to go to hell. They did this not because they wanted to save people's souls, but instead to provoke reactions so they could sue. If you care to look it up, most of the phelps family are lawyers and they would sue cities that denined them permits, anyone that attacked them. They used lawsuits to stay afloat. While this church is merely showing a flag saying that they don't hate people who are gay, bisexual, or trans. In a country where religion is in the decline, some churches are trying to be more welcoming rather than hateful. Jesus taught to love one another, not hate each other.

I think that the only thing that Jesus's sacrifice on the cross did away with was animal sacrifices. It didn't make it so you could eat medium-rare pork chop or remove parasites from "unclean" animals. Isn't going to church on Sundays keeping the Saturday Sabbath, because the preacher doesn't work on Saturdays?

I have heard sermons that the hardest thing about them was staying awake, let alone the preacher digressing off topic of the Scripture passage he would read. The last straw was him lying to me about another preacher. So, I just plain don't bother going to church, and learn more on my own anyway. Same people prayed the same prayers, same gossip fiends putting people's business on the street for prayer, sang the same hymns most of time. Good one on the southern preacher thing. I find the "Mayberry" level southern drawl especially annoying.

DUDE!!! YOU TOTALLY NAILED THIS!!! This video should be shared, and shared. Over and over, and over again. The big wigs if you will, the Church Hierarchy on both sides, on every side, in every denomination need to SEE and STUDY this video! NONE of this can be rebuked. THIS IS THE MESSAGE THAT JESUS INTENDED! This is TOTALLY what Jesus would want from his follower's today, NOT what we see every Sunday etc.! Church should be at MOST a 20 minutes sermon (12 is sufficient!) with the rest being prayer and share, meet and great and other more proactive and direct community care services! NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND with prayer and share, meet and greet and helping one another by loving one another being a footnote on a Sunday morning lasting all but 4-8 minutes!!! That should easily last 35-45 minutes, with the remaining time being the DIRECT STUDY OF EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING THAT JESUS DID OR SAID IN THE NEW TESTAMENT! It's like the past is becoming part of our future as Followers of Christ, and the present is clearly out of HAND!!!! I truly hope this message blows up. Most of you should be eating meat and teaching but still drinking milk. Brother! 100% on board with this. NT "church" was families gathering to the table to eat and fellowship. When my wife and I did our youth here at the house. We fed them every week. We gathered around the table in a non religious way and broke bread together. That right there should be the base of our gathering.
