I live in a 3rd world poor country. Some of my friends were school athletes. Never turned pro. The difference in nutrition and food what's available in a first world and 3rd world is heaven n hell. No reason why our athletes Never perform at a higher level. No infrastructure no equipment no nothing. No food.

It's absurd that IL being the premier collegiate sports institution in the state doesn't have multiple national championships in both basketball and football given its proximity to the Chicagoland area with all the great athletes coming out of that area.
