Dear Mr.Kirkwood, I am from Argentina and I make quite a few of your recipes. Love the corner buns. Today I made butter for the third time with your recipe. Today the butter and buttermilk did not separate and the butter did not stay in the middle of beater. It was quite soft. I washed it under the cold tap and made two pats but I was wondering if it is good to use or should I just throw it out? The time before I got a good jug of buttermilk. I must have used the wrong cream, right? Thank you very much for all you teach us, God bless you!! Sue

I’ve been making butter following this. idea for a few months and it’s great. Anyone know. good method to add salt and make sure it’s evenly distributed through the butter ? I usually make about 1kg at a time.

Lovely! Made these last night as a foray of KA mixing of high-hydration doughs. My 50+ years experience is beat w a holey spoon, knead w greased hands & sometimes turn air blue ;). 100g oat flour in the dough as I want to use it up, 10g instant yeast (current 1# pkg best-before Dec 2022, stored always in freezer, corner of pkg cut, double-folded & Bulldog clip so air-tight - previous pkg was good to the last crumb 3 1/2 years past best-by), 365g apf + 15 gluten (my usual in lieu of keeping “strong” as well), shaped 12 for 9x13” pan (portion control), parchment in bottom strewn with rolled oats, milk wash (couldn’t bother to open another egg) & more oats on top.

These look delicious. When I was a kid I grew up in a Welsh seaside town and you could buy these from a kiosk at 2 for 6d ( sixpence or 2.5 pence ) or 6 for 1/- ( that’s a shilling or 5 pence to you youngsters ) . I’ve had a really crappy day today and this video has cheered me up. 👍🤣🤣.

After a two-week trip to London, and some tasty pub meals, I searched for meat pie recipes, and followed this one. First with chicken, then with beef. The results were excellent. I'm an American living on the West Coast, so I just couldn't handle "Gravy Granules", whatever they may be. Sorry.
