I would theorise that your boat sailed under the contours of an old mooring lane 'line'. See the etches on the seabed floor (Google Earth). See the raised central channel on Jupiter as another example. You should avoid these mooring contours until we understand how they work. It's the system that creates our helix DNA. If you went under the far right one then that is possibly a SUNI mooring. The ones on the left are probably SAMURAI. It is designed to make a calcium chloride dihydrate io class chromosome(s) from hormones. You then use the overlap ranges between the samurai and suni to set the heartrate for your race at creation and evolution. The Samurai use infra red and the Suni use Ultra violet. God left us with instructions. Infra red, redo range yellow green blue, etc. and back the other way for the SUNI, reading right to left. x

Nice! -- QUESTION -- After the repairs, or boat swap, will there be an Amel SM just sitting there without a set of masts? Not sure what new masts cost but could someone "acquire" the left over SM and buy a set of masts and get out there? I guess what I am asking is this: is this a great opportunity to get into sailing and what would it cost to get that SM (without the masts)?

I have just returned from Cabo Verde. Now I think like this man after my first ocean experience! Charter company (Alboran) gave a sailboat without just one watermaker, dinghy's engine hardly functioned ... Great review, my favorite boat right now by YT videos before I enter all pretenders myself!

Congratulations to you both for coping with this catastrophic event so very well. I know you must be (or have been) full of overwhelming emotions at the time - but you coped and got the rig strapped down pretty securely and came up with a plan for reaching a suitable harbour - what’s not to like. I cannot believe the haters in the comments most of who have likely never even been to sea on a ferry.😀👍⛵️
