why am I seeing democratic political ads on this site, those jackwads are never getting my vote
@teufelboy6665 годин тому
To this day, the Luger is simply over engineered. But the knee closure just looks nice.
@TheKinzlerBrosГодину тому
Absolutely but, still a nice gun! Thanks for watching
@edjones92356 годин тому
The pitting was nothing compared to much more modern guns that youve done. Shows the quality of the steel used today. Considering its age very impressive.
@TheKinzlerBrosГодину тому
Ya it wasn't bad, steel has always gotten weaker for sure! Thanks for watching

I'm curious, the pitting is Extreme. But the rust doesn't look that old. Look like a rifle may have been reworked. They're not allowed to get wet two to four weeks before the video was made.

How do you get rid of the pitting?
@TheKinzlerBros12 годин тому
You would have to add metal and sand it down, or smooth out what you already have but I don't recommend any of it! Thanks for watching
@Overboard14112 годин тому
@@TheKinzlerBros I was just curious lol. I don't restore things. That's cool though. I was wondering.

What is the best way, in your opinion, to get into this as a hobby? Starting by learning to restore simpler, non-firearms? Otherwise, does one obtain worthy firearms from a garage sale or gun show of some sort for a start? Also, how does one verify the history of a firearm like that, making sure that the tool's history was not less than legal before picking it up? Thanks in advance.
@TheKinzlerBros12 годин тому
I can only tell you how we do it and hope it helps, we got an FFL. Which is a process to get other than that we buy them from online auctions, estate sales, friends, customers, or restore for a customer and gun shows. Good luck and thanks for watching!
@H.R.668815 годин тому
You know what you need for the wood work? A scraper. I use to sand, or use striper to remove the old finishes but now I use a scraper. Easy to make, mark Novak has a video on how to make one. I made mine outta a cheap putty knife.
