To be honest, I prefer the deaths in the original. In the original you could see streams of blood gushing everywhere and Isaac's intestines hanging out of his torso. Something that does not exist in the remake.

I don't know why people are on Abby's side in reality Joel was right you need to stop thinking about this as a human you need to start thinking as a scientist and the spore virus it shows in the game that it's constantly evolving and there are new versions of the virus coming out you cannot cure every single one of those virus if the resource that cures them dies with the first cure let's say they do make a cure for all of them They would only have 2 years at most even in the real world there is no definitive cure for a virus there are only mainly suppressants

Of the probably over a dozen times I've played this minigame, only once did I hear the distant announcement message after leaving of 'Good job, Isaac Clarke!'. I can't figure out how to replicate it, and it doesn't normally say that, instead just saying 'Game over' once the timer runs out.
