The hamas v israel contest has nothing to do with terrorism or radical islam. that is absurd. Occams razor, what possible reasons could people in Gaza have to wage war against Israel? Could it really only be said to be radical islam? Or could it possibly be theft of homeland?

I can see their necessity to tiptoe on this topic but if you don't get to the bottom of it it will never be fixed. Statistics matter, I just saw a white police captain give a rant stating that he was angry because 80% of the murders in his town were black people murdered by black people and he was worried about a child a black child that had been shot in the head in a drive by shooting by a black person. Also although it's politically incorrect where does IQ come into play as well as culture? If people are not going to CHANGE their culture (and are unable to change their IQ) how does this change when any discussion in these areas leads to crys if racism.

As a rogan listener myself, i disagree with a lot of what he says and i do feel that the characterisation of essentially the whole rogan audience being full antivaxers and fully against covid regulations and stuff is not accurate, i consider myself really moderate on those issues and i am often annoyed at rogan for saying silly things about it, but i still enjoy a lot of the episodes and i like listening to viewpoints i dont agree with. Those people who think stuff like that definitely exist and probably make up a big chunk of the audience, but i would be very surprised if its anything close to 70% or more of the people listening

The fact is that there is not a single person, organisation or corporation worthy of our trust when it comes to deciding what is “mis” or “disinformation” & therefore being the censorship gatekeepers.

Reality check: I (Sam) will invite a quest I already agree with to discuss (to have a monologue) about issues I feel people are confused about. Incredible after 4 years the guest says "The covid death rate is something like 1%" and Sam didn't correct him. The actual infection fatality rate (IFR) is less than 0.3% according to every major study you can find. Talk about misinformation. Overstating the IFR is exactly what caused the overreaction to begin with. It's the most important data point and our statisticians and health professionals completely failed to identify it, while overstating it 3-15x. We should have figured it out by mid-March 20' via population sampling. I could have done it as a project in my stats 101 class. A true fail!

He's just repeating the same points Alex was pressing against, which is why that part of Alex's podcast was an hour and 40 minutes in the first place. Christians who go to Africa to help people do not think they will get a benefit for it in the afterlife, they ARE doing it purely for compassion. That’s what I love so much about Christianity. Even though it is often misunderstood, even by followers. We are given grace through Jesus Christ through no act of our own, therefore we are filled with thankfulness and wish to share with others the compassion that was shared with us.

This is one of the more ridiculous discussions I've heard. Talk about gaslighting. I was threatened with losing my job if I didn't take multiple covid shots, which in hindsight I didn't need. I got covid from my vaccinated friends anyway. I couldn't travel for work or to see my family or go into many establishments without vaccination cards, and none of us had any idea if the way we socialize would be altered forever. This went on well into 2021 and was incredibly disturbing. The way the 2 of you gloss over this is impressive or maybe just ignorant. Schools were closed, businesses closed without any idea if they would ever reopen (many didn't), Grandparents died without being able to see their grandchildren. There are MANY people, probably many listening to this, who wanted more of that. There are people who wanted to wear masks forever, and a large number of people wanted people to be forcibly vaccinated. The only reason we don't have "syringes put into our arms every 6 months" is because normal people pushed back against the so-called experts. We have people in power that WOULD require all of that if they could, and the only thing stopping it are the (thankfully) normal people out there, who you still seem seem to think need experts to decide their news and views for them.

Worse than that, we had a highly intrusive mandatory vaccine passport system specifically for travel called ArriveCan. Virtually unlimited public resources were given to the small firm that created it. It tracked citizens, harvested personal data, and was exclusively available on smart devices. Elderly, non-tech literate, not literate in French or English, disabled? -- Too damn bad, you can't leave the country and return! This app also clogged up our airports, making them some of the least efficient in the world. All the while our government unwearyingly insisted that this technology made our airports more efficient! Of course this system is no longer in place, but being concerned about the data and tech infrastructure acquired and developed through this mandatory digital ID system is entirely reasonable. I do not believe that government ever expected to go this far at the start of the pandemic, this just shows how drunk with power they became. Who knows how far they would have gone if they received less backlash?! Our government consistently acted in a scientifically uninformed and unreasonable manner. The straw that broke the camel's back was when they banned unvaccinated cross-border truckers from entering the country AFTER vast majority of the country was vaccinated! --If it weren't for the public backlash, who know what other madness could have unfolded. Our miliary also very publicly boasted that they were testing and applying covert 'propaganda techniques' on the general public during the covid pandemic. Furthermore, some of the scientific advisors influencing decisions at the provincial and federal levels were genuinely mental unwell people. For instance, the avowed communist Dr. Nili Kaplan-Myrth, who would publicly call any physician who even slightly disagreed with her a 'white-supremacist'. This includes highly-accomplished, mainstream non-white doctors. This is not an outlying example either, our so-called 'science tables' were often extremely ideological and power hungry. Our society descended to a truly dark place. Our governments, leading experts, and institutions were mad with power. The rules and regulations went from somewhat sensible (given the information at the time), to erratic, intrusive, and outright insane. I'm sorry, but I find this all hard to dismiss with a simple shrug of my shoulders. P.S. Yes, yes, Canada was in fact an Orwellian nightmare.

Hello Sam. Normally, I agree with you, but you are wrong in implying that Israelis could have not done a better job and not killing innocent children and women. The war in Ukraine had been going on for two years and they have not killed nearly as manychildren and women as Israeli did in one month. So you are wrong.

Turned this off after 37 min. The correct response is that 90% of the Covid hysteria was uncalled for. I know so many people that went unvaccinated and unmasked the entire pandemic and no harm befell them. Every single school age kid had harm imposed on them to assuage the fears of adults and lets get real, a lot of gov workers wanted to stay home, not work and catch a nice paycheck to do it.
