Great collective effort, not just Blackmore or Lord, everyone is spot on here, this should have been a million seller and evergreen: nice vocals and listen to that super efficient bass, love the "vroooooms" starting from 3:18, as if the gas throtles are being opened, working nicely toward a solid climax.... And Paice, well he'll remain forever in my top 5 of best rock drummers of all time. No need for a Neil Peart-mega drumkit needing three trucks to be transported, the man gets fantastic results out of a relatively simple drumkit. Finally, hats off to the cover art !

I'd bet that most people can't name who recorded the original hit version of this great song. The two versions couldn't be more different, but I love them both. The original version was produced by Joe South, who also wrote the song. .
