Some things I have noticed from people who have secured jobs quickly in software engineering: 1: They dive head first into problems and roadblocks instead of pushing them off for later 2: They started applying "too early"

The the ML project after clicking the Transcribe button an error "DOMException: Failed to construct 'AudioContext': The hardware sample rate provided (1600) is outside the range [3000, 768000]." is showing. How to resolve this??

A little reality check from someone working in the industry. At the company I am working for, which has just 100 people and is not very well-known: - We went from having difficulty getting applications for our vacancies to receiving applications even from Japan. - We went from receiving applications for senior positions with only 3/4 years of experience to more than 10 years of experience. - We went from being left with the only candidate who passed all the interview stages to having difficulty deciding which one is the best

Hello, thanks so much for all the tips. If I want to be a mobile app developer, what should I learn first? Also, is it better to learn web development first, even though I am aiming to be a mobile app developer?

I'm a fan of your work. But I wonder why you are devoting more time to old frameworks like react instead of developing videos with newer frameworks like Sveltekit?

I m new into react and this video absolutely made me understand react components, states and hooks. Five hours felt like five decades. WHOOSHHH Damn I m really a beginner after all
@awakenwithoutcoffee3 дні тому
React really is difficult to grasp for a beginner. Much more difficult than Python/Javascript imho.

The ML project doesn't work at my end. I've copied the code from your repo as well. But it doesn't transcribe. Its always on the "warming up cylinder" mode. In the console, it shows Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'model') in whisper.worker.js

How curious! Can you please try to run the application in a different browser or inside of an incognito window? Also if you could please make a post in the #help-im-stuck channel in my discord I can provide you further assistance there!

Great video so far! I didn't realize a to-do list could feel so complex. Im about 30 minutes in and I've been pausing, rewinding, and commenting on my code to make sure I actually understand what you're talking about. A lot of this feels super advanced to me but cheers to pushing through. Thanks for the vid James!

Awesome tool❤. Main question is how many recruiters have the patience to read cover letters with the hundreds of application in their desk which they even scan with tools?
@Smoljames8 днів тому
It's a good question - I think for big companies it's probably also an automated process so at least there you don't waste your time writing a cover letter for an AI but having been in charge of recruitment for a smaller company normally it's the resume that'll decide which cover letters get read. If there's 100 applicants and 15 have good resumes then the cover letter can be the deciding factor :P
@weiSane6 днів тому
Most recruiters don’t read cover letters.
