Just add a small pieces of double side of tape and you can just stick it to its wanted position, make holes and be done.

Just for future reference, when doing wheels, take them off the car. Jack it up and do 1 wheel at a time, so if you ever need to do your brakes or have a flat on the freeway, you are able to remove your wheel and lugs with hand tools. The plasti dip with get into the crevice and make it really hard to get off.

I thought they had stopped selling refills bc they no longer sell them in the store. I will tell you what Wipers are an absolute nightmare to switch out, and there is no other car you'd have more reason for going to such extreme lengths on that's the wiper blades on a 2018-2020 Mercedes Benz S560 Maybach $70 bucks is nothing try $200! When I found out how much they cost, there was no way I was going to allow my mom to pay that much. So, I went to Costco and bought the 2 longest wiper blades I could find, tore them down, removed the blades, cut them to length, and then went through the nightmare of taking the Benz apart and putting the new blades into them. Not all brands will fit them. That was nothing. You won't believe what they tried to charge her for 2 new side view mirrors on that car. It was quoted, if I recall correctly; it was over $18,000, and that was only for the parts, not even taking the labor into consideration. The mirrors don't come as one whole mirror; they come in a million different parts. Obviously, I didn't charge her for the labor, only the cost of the replacement parts, which I think ended up being under $3,000. What the A-holes at the dealership didn't bother sharing is that a lot of the parts from the broken-off mirrors could be salvaged which I figured when I tried to find a better price on the replacement mirrors, so I salvaged what I could from the old ones and purchased the replacements for broken parts one on my own, and it was still way more expensive than it should've, but I still ended up saving her damn near $18,000!

The crimping technique is the most commonly misunderstood feature on the tool. Not trying to be critical here but the lobe part of the crimp feature aligns with the back side of the split on the terminal. This assures a proper crimp fold and a more secure crimp.

This is why you should never hire electricians. They give out tremendous amounts of false information like "Only use 80% of a boxes rated capacity". Nonsense. The box is RATED 150 amps it can DELIVER 150 amps ALL DAY LONG and NON-STOP...that is what rating means. He also talked utter nonsense about he cannot add more on to this panel when he added a finished basement. Pure idiocy. You can double each individual breaker to get the required capacity. There is no physical way to overload a panels capacity TURNING EVERYTHING ON FULL POWER. Light circuits run an amp or two MAXIMUM. Wall outlets might run 13 amps maximum with a space heater but no one is running FIVE SPACE HEATERS AT FULL POWER while the electric water heater is running, the dishwasher, the furnace, the electric dryer, etc. It simply never happens.

Don't use electrical tape with connectors. If you ever have to remove the tape, the connector will be sticky from the tape's glue. It's a nightmare to work with. If you really really need to wrap it, use heat shrink wrapping. Don't superheat it, just enough that it becomes snug. Then it works like a sleeve you can pull off and back for years to come without any residues.

25% of households don't have a single working smoke detector. That's ~32 million households across the US. There are even fewer household CO detectors across the US. Both seem more of a concern than a few people installing this stuff in an attached or detached garage or shed or workshop. And I don't mean to downplay the safety concerns, but our limited energy can be more focused on things that provide better returns.

Years ago, (I'm an old fella) I did a lot of stage work for bands loading and unloading truck loads of equipment, especially cables. Other than that I can go probably twice as quick, this is the method I had to use. It saves so much time and effort when unloading at the next gig.

this is an old trick and what it doesn't do much to help level it on a wall if the strip is going to be visible. Yes, you can draw a small level line on the wall and then match tape to it but it's not very precise if you're also trying to calculate the width of the "tape-edge to screw" measurement (to get precise height of p-strip).
