Red lobster used to be one of those good meals that my family used to go to once in a quarter. I havent been to red lobster in like 3 years

Since I’m an at-home chef most of the time, let me throw my two cents on Red Lobster and fast casual dining. I used to eat at Red Lobster a long time ago, but honestly it’s easier to cook my favorite seafood dishes at home and comes out much better than anything Red Lobster could ever make. I’d rather spend the money buying fresh seafood than paying for it at Red Lobster, and that’s really why I don’t even eat out anymore, I’d rather spend the money I’d waste on eating out at the grocery store and just make it myself. With all that’s going on in the restaurant business, high prices, smaller portions, wait staff demanding higher tips that cost as much as the meal you order now(seriously?), going out is just simply not a pleasurable, fun experience anymore. It’s costly and aggravating, and I want nothing to do with it. Trust me when I say learning to cook at home and on a higher level than restaurants, you won’t look back to places like Red Lobster, they’ll just be in the rear view mirror and get further and further away, you might remember it from time to time, but in the end I think Red Lobster will just be a distant memory.

The name was always stupid... DVD can apply to ANY disc media that stores video. Hell they should've just called 1080p discs, HDV and 4Ks: UHDV.

Here’s mine Can I please get 2 cheeseburgers protein style, extra lettuce, extra tomato, extra spread on the side. Animal style fries. Lemonade (Big smile) thank you! :) Or get the fries well done so they’re less soggy. If you like heat get those little yellow peppers

I live near downtown L.A. The only In-N-Out is at Orange & Sunset. I've been there twice in 20 years. It's always got a line, and it's not worth the wait. Drive the 10 East, and there's 100's of 'em. LOL

I have to say, In-N-Out Burger employees are always really happy and pleasant, very clean-cut and well groomed, and generally attractive people. I know that sounds shallow, but I don't think most people want to receive food from someone who looks like a vagrant.

My bother pinched me with lobster claws on his fingers when I was young, 6ish maybe, I broke out in hives & have never eaten seafood since! But the biscuits are the greatest! I love red lobster!!!

Some years ago on a visit to SoCal I ate at an In-N-Out. I remember the hamburger tasted great, the fries were great as well. I wish they would open a store in West St Louis area.

There’s an in n out by the airport we always stop by and my dad was returning from my grandma’s funeral. We stopped there to pick him up. Just in the parking lot. Didn’t even buy burgers. Our car stalled and I went into the in n out for help. 5 employees came out and pushed our car to have it jump started for us. We had a big ass mini van too. I’ll never forget their kindness and empathy. Long live in n out. Five guys deserves the grave

They are the best. I grew up in NY but moved west after college. I just left California after 40 years and miss In and Out so much. Now having moved back to NY State My local McDonalds serves crap.

Sheetz definitely needs to expand out everywhere in the U.S and Globally. The have the potential and the ability to do so. They’re very good.

Been to one once. Never returned. I think it’s associated with less than middle class, it’s small, it’s not exactly mainstream. I admire the No drive through, no remodeling, no fancy anything, which is, well, comforting for the usuals. Keep going Waffle House. You have earned a place in American culture.

I think an additional problem (at least in costal communities) is that there’s usually a better local place at both the higher end and the lower. I can name 3 different places in my town that I’d go to before I’d go to Red Lobster (and I don’t even really like seafood!)

They regulate quality. Other fast food places DON'T. That makes it real simple! QUALITY!!! Yes I would appreciate it if the fries were better. I just learned to eat them first. 🤣

Last time I went there for lunch it was a disaster. There was barely any staff working. Food was coming out dreadfully slow. Tables weren't being attended to. Customers were all complaining. Entres were coming out before appetizers. They ended up discounting customers meals because of the bad experience.
