Okie what is the nickname given to Oklahoma folks migrating to California. And then the name proceeded to all migrants. But my neck of the woods Okie just means some country folk. Most of the time with an accent. Believe me nothing disrespectful, our elders would have knocked our ears off our heads😂.

The slot canyons are amazing. Been there, done that, but only a few, during the 30+ years I lived in Southeastern Deserts of Utah. Most people would think the area is not only desolate but barren. Not so. Sunrises and sunsets are indescribable. The wildlife is varied and abundant. Its where I still call home though I live in the Southwestern Appalachian's of North Carolina now. I cane here to watch my grand-daughters grow up. Great podcast, Cam. Even 4 yrs later.
