Stop with the Clickbait titles! NASA DID NOT announce a new launch date for SpaceX Starship Flight 4. Geesh...a good way for your site to become obsolete. And there is ZERO evidence that SpaceX hasn't cooperated with regulatory organizations including the FAA. Regardless, SpaceX will announce a new launch date anyway...not NASA.

THE ONLY SOTUTION! Baffles will not work to prevent the fuel slushing problem, because the tanks of the starship system are too large. That is the only reason why the starship engines have been exploding every time. The solution: The tanks of Starship and Superheavy need 2 disk valves, expanding the diameter of each tank. One of the disks, the one on top, rotates above the contiguous disk to close the overlaping holes on the surface of the disks; to reduce the Size of the tank by dividing it, before any rotation or acceleration of the rocket. This will prevent slushings and protect the plumbing, if located 10% above the bottom section of each tank. Large telescopic pistons can be attached below the bottom of disk valves to control the fuel pressure as the piston expands into the fuel tank. I have built a model that works perfectly. The second disk valve can be located 10% below the front of the tank, to also protect the front of the tanks from the slushing forces. The gridfins are too flat and too small to be effective enough and will not be able to control the booster. Why is Elon not using four pins instead of three to secure each heat shield tyle? Four anchor points provide far more stability to secure a tyle, not three. Also, each type should be constructed with the bottom half of the brick consisting of an interwoven latice of steal mixed into the silicon, to provide a foundation of strength and durability to each tyle. What is more important than securing the heat shield by providing the maximum stability and strength to each tyle? The interwoven steal mesh lattice mixed into the bottom half of the bricks, and the four anchor points would eliminate the problems of tyles falling off the ship every time there is an engine ignition event. Please get this message to Elon. Thank you. Also, Spacex needs 3 actuators to move the payload bay doors correctly, not two. They have only two now, one at each end of the payload bay. They need one at the center position. Three will guarantee that there will always be enough support to open and close the doors, even if one of the three fails. I know the spacex engineers can see these problems. It is like ignoring the elephant in the room. The solutions should be a no-brainer. Musk needs to hire people who can be trusted and who will not continue accepting bribes from Jeff Bozo to sabotage and cause unnecessary delays to the Spacex Statship program.

Great Episode. SpaceX's goal is to be successful. They know what they are doing. Outside of SpaceX. There are way to many bureaucrats involved in this process. You keep showing animations of Starship in flight; bear in mind that its first three test flights have ended with the loss of both Starship and its booster. Starship is years behind schedule and may never fulfill its intended role as a lunar ferry for Artemis (for which purpose NASA paid SpaceX $2.9 billion). Considering that IFT-3 essentially ran out of propellant on a suborbital flight carrying zero of its purported 100-150 tons of payload, it's an open question as to whether it will ever be useful for any purpose.

It is of utmost importance that we prioritize the safety of astronauts in space missions. The current state of the Boeing capsule does not ensure their safety, despite the work done on it. Therefore, it is crucial to conduct further tests on the capsule without crew to confirm its safety. Considering Boeing's previous safety record, it would be unsafe to permit crew transportation without thorough testing and confirmation of its safety. Let's prioritize human lives and make safety our top priority.

My design is better. On my ship, the landing gear doors are on the back of the ship with all the other penetrations. The belly is a massive continuous heat shield with no holes. It's much cheaper to manufacture it this way. The heat shield is modular and can be replaced in a few hours. When you are going to reenter in my ship, you roll onto your back and burn through the atmosphere. The crew are in a cylindrical section that stays upright as the ship rolls, so you are comfortable as you fly. Once you have slowed down and don't need the protection of the heat shield, you roll again so that your windows and landing gear are pointing down. The control surfaces can then be extended for landing. My design is better in every way, but they will never build it. Politics and money. It's frustrating.

I can't help but ask, if this thing is supposed to fly up to 15 times, what about the ablative tiles on the bottom? Will they have to be replaced each time, or is there some other materials technology at work here? Replacement would cut out the rapid reusability that we are all looking for. All this time in development, and we don't even have two complete Dream Chasers. Clearly, tiles as a way to get back down to ground is only a stopgap measure. There has to be another way as long as we are using current up/down propulsion technologies - i.e., we 'fall' back down to earth, no matter how controlled it may seem.
