What other car UKpostsr ACTUALLY fabricates the cars he's working on? Stew the king!

Amazing content loving this build. How is the fitment of the hood and bumper, in the pictures I've seen so far there appears to be a slight gap where the bumper meets the hood in the center grill area.
@Leaskspec15 днів тому
it looks a little off because its installed without any trims and the hood isn't latched at the back so its kind of sitting low, making the front end pivot up
@supernice_auto15 днів тому
@@Leaskspec i appreciate the response here- definitely looking forward to seeing how it fits when it's ready- i have the same hood on the way and am considering the rest of the front end as well- keep up the great work you're a beast!
love the video and this type of content! keep it comin' man!

Steve is such a great man. I know this is a lot of job and a lot of money, but the end result is worth it, the agresiveness those gtr quarters has is just 👌🏻💥💯
@BoostAlmightyМісяць тому
Exactly. That's why I did it late Fall 2021 - June 2023. Missed 1 summer of driving, but totally worth it! Also better reason to look for any hidden gremlins underneath. Not a fan of bad surprises.
@darrynjamesМісяць тому
Love your work man! Cant wait to see more. Motivation to get off my ass and get some work done 😂
@rm6330Місяць тому
The previous rear wheel arch modifications look just like the typical Japanese style of getting widebody clearance for bigger wheels and tires.
@LeaskspecМісяць тому
Yeah seems to be the way it goes on average. A little dodgy but thankfully we’re getting it sorted!
@xymphomaМісяць тому
This is litterally the SECOND vid in a row I watched that gave a Shout out to Steve at SR.
@LeaskspecМісяць тому
He is a very helping hand in the community 👍👍

How different is the oil catch can that goes in the correct location (Battery area)? Is it serviceable like this one? Could you make a video on that one?
@LeaskspecМісяць тому
Yes I’ll have one up soon, it just underwent a slight design revision and I should have the new batch in stock shortly. After that I’ll do a video showcasing its advantages
@corbygasmМісяць тому

Ain’t that Adam Lz old house
@LeaskspecМісяць тому
no, this was my wife's family's house. we bought it from them and built the shop on the property
@clarenceperkins3115Місяць тому
Awesome work! I love watching video's like these!
@cam.veniceМісяць тому
Dude awesome content keep it up. What’s that gold stuff you painted on the grinds for the GTR? Primer? Also, went back to watch your other videos. Can we get a shop tour? Not project updates but how your shop is organized, the loft, cool tools, the story of how you built it, Etc.
@LeaskspecМісяць тому
The gold stuff is a copper weld-thru primer, its a bit cleaner brushing on than the spray on application imo. I do plan on a shop tour but I need to finish the shop, its still very much a work in progress as I'm waiting on tools and other things to arrive. I promise one is coming though!
@JarrettLauderdaleМісяць тому
The thorough explanations are great for when I'm at work and want to just throw a video up on one of the spare monitors while doing something on the others. I don't have to watch each and every second to absorb the content if your dialogue is part of what makes it all interesting. It's not everyone's style, but I've enjoyed them a ton!
@signal_mswМісяць тому
Having the strut towers tied to the cage is basically the only way to keep them from slowly collapsing inward on these old Nissans that have way more grip than they were designed for. Well done!
@OMCbuiltМісяць тому
What's up buddy - I bet the last time I saw you was at an XDC event! Just came across this video and glad to see you are still building lots of rad stuff!
@LeaskspecМісяць тому
its been quite a minute! thanks dude! hope all is well

@LeaskspecМісяць тому
if you're local its a service i can offer but i'll only be able to build it on a car directly unfortunately
@BrokenSilviaМісяць тому
You are a natural on camera. No stutters, no nagging - just straight to the point action. Very much like this style already. Audio quality is great along with image (maybe a little murky on the colour correction). Workspace presents amazingly well along with the fabrication of course. Keen to see how this R34 comes together, and hoping you find more clients that have budgets which will allow you to continue working on projects as such in the US!
@BoostAlmightyМісяць тому
Agreed. I liked it a lot. Easy... well easier to understand WHILE still enjoying it. Bravo. 😎

@kennyb9334Місяць тому
I appreciate that you're sharing the rationale behind your design and fabrication.
@Finalmemory_Місяць тому
I really like the explanations and talking about the details. I feel all we need is a little montage of the work keep it up 👍

Copper Anti-Seize under the weld area?
@LeaskspecМісяць тому
Weld-thru primer
@BourneThisWayМісяць тому
Your catchcans look amazing, but are a bit pricey. Could you fabricate something like the Nismo oil/air separator that’s gets the job done but at a more reasonable price?
@LeaskspecМісяць тому
I’m not looking to step on any toes and touch on a design that’s currently available. My belief is that the baffling configurations currently available for RB valvecovers aren’t sufficient enough to truly prevent a great deal of oil from leaving the motor. For this reason I only offer products that vent to atmosphere instead of returning the byproduct to the rear turbo inlet. Admittedly, I used to be able to offer this product a little over half this price, but the upgrades I’ve added to the product to help it work more efficiently creates a price increase unfortunately
@haiboj4979Місяць тому
Would you consider doing a R32 Group A race car front strut bar replica? Specifically this one from the Calsonic car: media.evo.co.uk/image/private/s--fI8go50j--/f_auto,t_content-image-full-desktop@1/v1556226804/evo/images/dir_1135/car_photo_567505.jpg
@jdub6909Місяць тому
Do you think I could mount a GTR front subframe to a stock s13 front end? Keeping the GTR front dif pan with your oil pan mod?
@LeaskspecМісяць тому
there's a lot more necessary to running the subframe like the legs of the frame rails, etc. its a very involved job
