Amazing results. For me, the wrap/paint and the exhausts look fantastic. The colour choice for the wrap is fantastic. That guy really knows his stuff. I’m keen to see what happens with the interior, so that’s a subs.

My front lower fender(its decoration only) is held on with de-soldering wire melted into both halves, the woven type works well and has been on for about 5 years, no corrosion as its copper.

I'm worried about the extra thread around that spherical bearing. I suppose it will grind itself away, but I'd rather use a grinder for that than the metal of the equipment.

Number one rule of wrenching, put it on the charger as soon as you start working on it, even at q trickle it'll be ready by the time you need it on a big project like this 😂

The Golf bit was hilarious, the Deere looks much better now. Also Rich, if you are going to golf, don't muscle the ball, lol. Not to be that guy, but as someone that's played both Baseball and Golf, Baseball is where you muscle the ball, Golf is more like Tennis, its about controlling the swing, the weight of the club is all you need to send the ball down the course, so you don't need to hammer it, lol. Perfect test of the lights though.

It's meant to be in four wheel drive when the ignition is off, that means the handbrake is working on all four wheels not just two. That's why it was wired that way.

This is the first time I've seen a UKpostsr apply black bed liner to a build that I didn't hate. That's mostly because they do it to the body of a car... Also, slides in the shop 😂

I did some plastic repair with a sacrificed soldering iron, with some stitches using electrical copper wire strands, but never thought about using steel wool for réinforcement, good idea ! You can usually find which type of plastic it is engraved in the piece, ABS, PE, PET, etc. Then you can buy little filler plastic rods, if you don't want to canibalize some bits of the piece itself :)

For a better finish look on the liner, the last coast could be done with a spray can.

Lawn tractor has the same engine and I learned that the alternator on them is really wimpy. So it helps to replace ALL the lights with LED to reduce the power drawn which in turn helps the battery charge.

I have an 05 HPX 4x4, as far as I have found no one makes aftermarket plastics for these. Also you have this listed as a 1996 but they did not start making these until 2004 as far as I know. The only thing I'm not sure on is mine has manual 4WD engagement and yours is electronic. I didn't even know electronic was an option. I'm thinking it became an option on later models. (serial number 090001 and above). Number is located on passenger side frame in front of the rear wheel.
