For 5:24 I do find it a bit strange as well. Perhaps this is a blend of lack of experience in tank design or a way to attempt to make each tank "better". Lets face it, NK doesn't have the manufacturing capabilitiy of other nations, they are taking a doctrine where they know they cannot field as many so why not add some extra firepower to the tank. The other thought is surplus. If they have a shit ton of these missiles sitting around perhaps putting it on the vehicle isn't a bad way to use supplies. I doubt this is the case but we did see the French do this in WW2 from surplus WW1 ammo. Lastly it may be a way to make them look more dangerous then they actually are. Morale is a weird thing and maybe command thinks strapping some missiles will boost morale to the troops. The cost won't make sense given cheap drones are proving extremely effective in Ukraine, and the age of the MBT may be shifted. Either way, interesting video that popped in my feed!
