Thanks for the video as usual. I think your fish was a hybrid bluegill and red ear. I watch Cole and Jay's channel also and they catch quite a few of them at times around the Conway area.

Thank you. Yes sir. I sure have fun catching them and they are good to eat. Look Underneath the video in the description box, I have a Amazon link for this cooling fan. I used it all summer last year and I love it. It lasts all day and it's rechargeable also built in a power bank and light.
@ericpierce45104 дні тому
That Eye design came about by The Bass Professor ( Doug Hannon )years ago, to help with casting distance by stopping what's called line slap, or the line slapping the rod. It also controls the line not becoming trapped on the reel side of the Reduction guide.
@ericpierce45104 дні тому
Great looking gills and red ear too. Great table fair for sure...

Today is Thursday May 9,2024. Hello ! I was looking at the ACC crappie stix 8 foot super grip grip spinning rod . Would you recommend me to buy that rod for casting for shells crawler and red ear and bluegills and crappies from the bank using live night crawler and live minnows and live cricket as my baits to catch them please if not which size ACC crappie stix spinning rod would you recommend me to buy please. May the lord be in your heart today to answer all of my questions please and may the Lord continue to bless you and your family and your UKposts channel in 2024 please 🙏🙏 ! You’re my favorite UKpostsr. Can you please do a little more casting for shells crawler and red ear and bluegill from the bank UKposts videos in 2024 please 🙏
@FishYanker4 дні тому
Well I also have a 7 ft ACC crappie stick similar to the 8 ft one that you're talking about, but I do not recommend it for bluegill and shell cracker. The Acc 6 ft 2 dock shooter rod that I'm using in the video, I would recommend. It's a easy casting rod with a good back bone that will work really good from the bank or boat. God bless you and thank you
@scottjordon3 дні тому
@@FishYankerbe careful with this guy Yanker!! He’s always asking what rod you and others recommend!! He’s been doing this for 3 years that I know and if he ain’t bought a rod and reel by now then he ain’t gonna get one!! 😊

@tonyknott37894 дні тому
Are you familiar with where the term shellcracker came from, is that what a red ear is?
@FishYanker4 дні тому
Yes sir. shell crackers eat snails in the water that are evasive and have parasites. Shellcrackers crunch them up. The Red ear name Iam not 100% sure of but I'm pretty sure it comes from the red line around its ear on the end of a gill plate. They are some strong fighters. Lots of fun.
@tonyknott37894 дні тому
Have you ever tried 1/32 underspin tipped with a worm to catch those bream/sunfish

No but I might need to try that. thank you

Hey yank! How much do you use your fish finder? And are you using it to actually locate fish or to look at cover? I really enjoy your videos, the music is awesome, too!
@FishYanker4 дні тому
I am still trying to learn how to use it to be honest. I do like that I can see the water temperature the depth and the structure. I find stuff out in the middle of the lake that I didn't even know it was there. So it really helps me concentrate on where crappie might be. I've actually fished a couple times without it and I kind of feel lost not having it to watch the water temp and the depth of the area I am fishing. It's like having a extra tool to give you some extra tips. Thank you. I should have a good video coming soon today 😊
