Stunning story!

That had a distinct Twilight Zone feel for me

Made me think about my mom and her journey here in the US... thank you for posting this film.

It is a poignant film reminding us of the victims of terrorism. From 1969 to 2001, both Ireland and the UK suffered 116 terrorist attacks with bombs killing and injuring many civilians including children. During these times, my thoughts were always with the families, who would hear the reports on the radio or TV, but could wait hours for news of the their relatives.

This movie really impressed me! I felt so much for Louis seeing his experiences. He tried so hard to do his best and his feelings when the storm hit just tore my heart. But the fact that his brother “didn’t notice” this storm made me cry. This is a very good ending - sad and joyful at the same time. ❤

At first I thought the little girl bonked him over the head with the thermos but he was bleeding out of his mouth, so I think he must have been shot? The ending was a bit confusing for me, but very sad either way.

Well done. The ending is a sweet setup for whatever comes next. The scene at 8:07 is brilliantly enacted.

Who created the blight organism in a secret lab and instigated the mass worldwide food shortage? The same individuals own private islands and deep underground bunkers stocked with food, water and medicine in luxurious quarters staffed by hired workers to guard and maintain their isolated structures from outsiders. You know who they are. :-)

The thumbnail drew me in. This is so sad, I think Omeleto is trying to break my heart today. With what's going on around the world today, this has me thinking, is this what is instore for us in the future? That little girl got me so angry, she's an ingrate.

We just screened this at our theater in Minnesota. The writer was there

Outstanding. But heartbreaking.

At first, I thought David Prescott wanted to be murdered, and that was the reason he forced himself on her, right by that huge knife.I thought that maybe he was doing it so he could leave his family with some money. I mean, he HAD just set up life insurance. Maybe he had hit a rough patch, financially, (even though the house looked somewhat expensive,) and wanted to be able to help his family out. Maybe he was suicidal, but wanted to be able to leave his family with some money. I was wrong. It would have been a nice twist. REGARDLESS: This was a really good story. Superb acting!
