How are you calculating newly mined gold purchases vs the selling of stored gold bullion? This info does not necessarily indicate an OUTFLOW of gold from the west, it can be interpreted as the acquisition of newly mined gold going extensivley to the east, whereas not much buying of newly mined gold in to the west.

While it's true Nixon ended the gold standard, it was LBJ who ended the gold cover requirement for federal reserve banks. Prior to this, banks were required to hold gold certificates to cover 25% of their liabilities. After this change, they were able to create money to loan out of thin air. Look up the article: Who really killed the gold standard. BTW, LBJ was the guy who replaced JFK, and JFK was the guy who wanted to return to US Treasury notes and eliminate the Federal reserve note. so - to reduce participation in this system, avoid taking loans. Avoid having to pay taxes as far as possible. Don't invest your fiat money in bond or shared, but change it into hard money like Gold or Bitcoin (some of both, probably) to store it outside the government's and the banks view.
