I served 30 years in Air Force as an enlisted airman and NCO with 3 years on the ground in Vietnam and combat flying status and ended my career in Desert Storm. I served many many officers from new LTs to Colonels. My observation, is some officers belong behind a desk doing paperwork and some officers belong on the front lines in combat. Sometimes the two get reversed. When in combat you quickly learn what officer belongs where.

Not to disrespect this veteran, but Mount Everest is over 23,000 feet and people have climbed that with no oxygen so there is a few drops of oxygen at 18,000 feet that’s all I’m saying

Yeah, in Training there's the understanding that if everybody does their job professionally, then there doesn't need to be any fatal accidents. But in War, the enemy is out there whose aim it is to inflict causalities on you, and they can also be professional. But yes, the Training Mind would definitely be thrown for a loop when your soldiers start dying. The idea in training is that all such losses should be preventable.

the brave men who fought and died for the country to preserve its freedom. Now we have this moronic unduly elected pos in the white house who’s trying to destroy it. JB and kamaltoe need to be dismissed and held for treason.

Okay...the oxygen at 18k is 20%, which is the same at sealevel...i call BS. The only difference between sea level and 18k is atmospheric pressure. I skydive from 10-18k regularly. Nothing about what this man said is accurate.

Yes. 100% it was a failure. It failed many years before Biden or Trump ever took office because politicians and the media couldn’t keep their noses out of it and our nation’s warriors were never allowed to do what needed to be done to eradicate the Taliban plague from that land. Biden’s disastrous pullout was only the final nail in the coffin and it was an insult to any service man or woman who risked their life in that country and to the countless Afghanis now subject to Taliban rule.
