I would like to see a qualifying lap shoot out with the championship winning cars of every year since, I don’t know, the 80s? Maybe do it in groups of 3, ghosting them iver ea h other, just so the video doesn’t take like 2 hours. I know that’s like 40 odd cars, but seeing a side by side comparison of each car would be great to see. I’m sure it would get a lot of views. But would also take a very long time to create too. Maybe even make it a series. Do the 80s cars, then the 90s and so on. Then at the end, get the fastest 5 and out them together as ghosts. I feel like the newer modern cars would enter high speed corners faster due to such advanced aero, but the cars like the f2004 would wreck everything else in acceleration due to the weight and power.

My casual ahh just happy to play GTR cup tokyo east for 120k credits for 8 1/2 minutes of racing. Add in menu times and maybe its a mill even for one hour gameplay. I still cbf doing that for 20 hours to get some of the legends cars. I mean, after th R92CP and the 787B what and the Toyota...uh... you know the one, what else is there to get. Legalized greed and theft. Imagine trying to launch a company in German when there are laws that allow to someone with more money and power to legally steal your stuff. Amazing. And to those misunderstanding the issue, the issue is not that there are proceedings for failing companies, the problem is that they legalized a way for the board to go against their directives to care for shareholders, and essentially rob the company from the shareholders for a new investor, if that investor convinces them to with enough money. This is legalized bribery and theft.

I think the main thing in today’s time is you see a trend that’s not great for either console or PC. in console, you see Games that force micro transactions onto its player base, on PC you get online only focused racing games with no care whatsoever to a single player campaign, and worse of all even less care to a co-op experience with AI. Forza, computer AI online multiplayer lobby for no reason and even when a mass majority of its player base complained about it, they ignored them. Even upcoming titles, such as Rennsport that claim they’re going to be the next simulation game or once again only making online lobbies we competitive Driver levels. much like a realistic game gets physically and mentally draining when it’s difficult to drive so does racing people online. Between this fact and the fact that the more simulation game seems to claim it is, the less chance of mods being available, means that the game is only gonna have a lifespan as long as the developers allow it to exist.. there needs to be more like GT7 with an expansive amount of things to do career mode that could even be played with a friend, co-op experiences online against AI computers in private lobbies, with physics that you see in a lot of high PC simulation games. Games need to do this to target both people who want to make adjustments to their cars to shed milliseconds off their lap times for competitive racing, as well as casual players who just want to have a fun experience with friends each group though finding what they want in the different modes available but not lacking at all in FFB. Adding mod capability on top of it and you have a game that will easily stay alive and have a big enough that would be easily willing to purchase DLC created by the developers. These racing titles, where you have to pay for a server or buy every car and every track game that comes out with a car or track base and then charges DLC around every corner or games that are online only and then the server closes because they bring out a new game and you’re left having a single player game that has a 10 hour campaign and you no longer can have fun with your friends needs to stop. But people keep buying them so they will keep making it…

Well i think if the thing is going that dire like it was for Leoni the investors would have let it die. And it would not have any contracts anymore anyways. Like i think it’s even more unethical to destroy the company and then try to rehire and buy the left overs. Which btw. would have cost to lose the entire stocks also and it would have been highly unlikely to get any money out of it as the production facilities as in the bigger ones got hit pretty hard by war. I suspect on purpose destroying the value this actually is against the law but you’d have to proof that they do it on purpose.

The outcome of the Fanatec scenario has zero impact on sim racers. Sim racing is only going to get bigger and there are lots of other companies who provide racing equipment. Fanatec being part of it or not will have zero impact on the growth of this industry.

Well, it seems pretty clear to me what the best course of action is. Dump the stock, forget Fanatec ever existed. It got into this mess on its own. It's hopeless to try and protect an investment from losing all value after it already lost all its value through the obliteration of consumer trust. The general consumer and sim racing enthusiast has been shafted by Fanatec's business practices that directly caused this predicament, and won't rally into formation to save the precious brand.

As some others have mentioned, this video is very baised, and not objective. This is very understandable since you yourself are financially involved.

Ive seen Fanatec's YT comments making fun of cuatomer complaints, it was incredibly distasteful, and showed their ego.
