What if black plays bishop to g6 though ? I'm a complete noob but wouldn't the checkmate take longer than 2 moves ? Edit, best case scenario you play king against queen plus king which ultimately is very bad but I don't see checkmate in 2

If you take on g6 with the knight that keeps material equal. Take with the pawn and you’re up a knight cause after fxg6 the queen protects the knight on f8

I would say yes. I can't imagine you can find a titled player who doesn't know this game. Same as the Opera Game, the Immortal Game, The Evergreen Game. Most especially the Opera Game, which is crazy, because I've got to recreate that game multiple times vs other players. Which is insane to me. It's the most famous game of all time and a game people learning the game should study in depth.
