Murray in his prime years from 2007 to 2017 went 30-2 in finals against players outside the Big Three. Nuts. I remember these two matches super well and when it happened. Very very worthy to make a vid on... Robredo's reaction at the net after Valencia stuck with me lol. 2 of the finals Murray was closest to losing no doubt, mere inches away from it in both.

I remember both Finals. Watched both on TV as it happened. The Shenzhen final was bonkers! I remember going to cook breakfast at the 6-2 in the Shenzhen breaker because I thought it was over. I came back to what I expected to be the trophy presentation. Instead I saw Murray up 5-1 in the 3rd set. I was FLOORED!!! At least in Valencia Robredo didn’t give up in the 3rd set. That match was incredible and the match point rally to win it was superb!!! Fierce fighting by Murray in both matches.

Federer played easy the first set and let Sampras win a few games....2nd set was competitive....3rd Set...Pete was up 5-2...then let off the gas to let Roger win this exhibition. Mind you, Roger was in the midst of the greatest 5-6 stretch in tennis history. He really was not the same after these 3 exhibition matches against Pete. It caused doubt in his mind for many years to come.

Thanks for showcasing Justine Henin. She is one of my favorite female tennis players. She had an all around game. Graf would be my 1st pick as far as all around game. Henin a close second. I like Serena too, but as far as great volliers, Graf and Henin were just outstanding volliers.

4 of 5 times were at atp finals, so against one of the best 8 players of the world those years. But if it isn’t enough, 3 of these 4 times were against djokovic, nadal and murray… and if anybody needs to remind it, don’t worry, djokovic also received a 6-0 treatment from Roger in Cincinnati final 2012… do you need something else to learn anything about GREATNESS? Because I grew up learning from him live and I miss him and dreaming because of him too much
