Great video. I was in Queenstown last month. Didn't know about the Routeburn walk. It looks amazing reminded of Neelum Valley in Pakistan. I went to the Milford Sounds that was something artistic and quite unreal. Still its difficult to describe the calmness and surrealness of it. After seeing this video I have added more things to my checklist.

From experience I feel for you with that ķind of route finding is a energy vampire 😂. I met a LARGE rattle snake that way ( hands n knees ) in Central Arizona while trying to get up a steep overgrown , sheer,, mnt face. He was mellow and I backed off slowly 😊. He was beautiful n big.
