I am going to adopt the idea of ‘squirrel gardening’ for my balcony this year. Except I am already behind so perhaps I am a grasshopper.

Everyone has their own way of gardening. We need to figure out our spaces for planting things. You’re lucky you have started there, here in the US we haven’t. I’m so itching to get started. Happy gardening!!

Take care Theo, and you too Bea. All the best to you both and for goodness' sake don't overwork - take it easy, the jobs won't run away.

This is wonderful. I just came across your channel, but my dream has been to live a similar lifestyle, having a cottage and live in more balanced life with nature and cherries the simpler life overall. Thank you again for making these videos and having chance to see your journey. Love it and staying a fan. All the best.

Use Epsome salt on plants for growth. Use copper wire coiled around tall sticks, place in garden between plants at large intervals. Connect the copper covered sticks with copper wire. Plants will grow prolifically quickly.
@aletademarco41552 дні тому
Spray baking soda and water on plants to keep insects off. OR sprinkle a line around each plant. Use an old 2 liter soft drink bottle, cut bottom off, place over top of each plant, sprinkle baking soda around the bottle. Insects won't cross it.

The trick to good strawberries is to plant 20 30 100 plants straw , and as much as it pains you ,nip off all the flower buds every day so as the energy goes to the roots feed them your coffee grounds seaweed tincture or any algae from your pond... and when first weeks of summer roll in let them flower and they will boom big blush outrageous berries all summer. Enough for every day or to put in the freezer.

Oh it's fun to see the projects be completed. Given all the obstacles you faced, it's lovely to see you pass it on in the sort of shape you would have wanted. I love the idea of chaos gardening! That's sort of what I do. I think this year I'm going to get potatoes to survive! Cross your fingers. I hope your gardens come out nicely as well. Happy Monday.

In art history I remember studying the “English” garden… Bea you are spot on! Excellent lil herb garden! Let the dill and spinach go to seed. Save the seeds! You will Always have dill and spinach! Fresh dill in sour cream or goats cheese- is so good!

Hi Guys, Off grid land is looking a lot better and a very nice space. Would love a space like this 😍. At some point are you going to let us know the selling price? God bless

How much you guys selling it for?

Love your chaos garden Bee. That would be the type of garden I would like. However, we have way too many deer and would need to build some huge, high fencing to keep them out. For now, no garden.
@fee47564 дні тому
Great video. Love the chaos gardening. Is your friend John a Weigie?? I know he's Scottish, he sounds very much from central/south west. His tile bashing rant had me giggling.... it is indeed "good fur the heid!" (good for the head) 💪👌🤣💕 P.s...im Weigie, that why i understood every syllable. 😂

Your garden looks really great Bea‼️👍😊I really enjoyed being with both of you, just moving around the stone barn property, seeing places we got used to seeing when you made those videos‼️You are really doing a LOT of work getting the property ready to sell‼️👍😊. Have a GREAT WEEK👍😊❤️‼️

I really hope you can put up a drone and show us the birds view of the property, that I am sure, many will love to see, thank you, Light and love to you both.

What I learnt about strawberries Bea is while it is fruiting and it put runners out cut the runners do not let them grow until after the strawberries have ended their season then let them grow their runners and then you can root them up into the soil next to the plant or pots and once established in the /soil/pot you cut the runner and this way you get more strawberries. Have a lovely day.

Oh Bee, your gardening looks similar to mine. My veggie garden cannot sustain even 1 person. But I do get the odd pepper, green onions, herbs, tomatoes. mint and a few other things. Thank you to you and Theo for❤ motivating me to do things outside, around my cottage.

I really like that off-grid property. It’s good to see you taking care of it, and finishing up the left over projects. Whoever buys this place is surely going to love it. Best Of Luck!

Dear Bee.. look up clove spray for a natural bug deterrent. It doesn’t hurt your garden, is totally natural and it’s the smell that repels insects from eating your veg garden. Much Love ❤️
@dreamlifeportugal4 дні тому
What a fun garden project you have Bee, definitely full of beautiful surprises. I love it when random things grow that you actually haven't even planted because a rogue seed finds its way there. So much progress at the offgrid property. Theo and John are doing a great job there. It's looking great.

John's awesome, where does he get all his energy. Great to see the tidy up coming along so well at the off grid property.😊❤
