So....this came out of nowhere. Care to explain in a video? If I dont see an update video I'm taking this as some account purchase? Apex for a few dollars?

It looks like it's still JF. It looks like him at 0:16. He's got a production company (that's the name of this channel) and does a ton of different stuff. So if I had to guess, yes, APEX is dead.
@JFdotMUSIAL4 місяці тому
@@lowstrife Hi, yes -- that was me on the carrier, shot this episode for Newsweek. Sorry we haven't been more communicative about APEX. The challenge is the name. When we launched APEX, not many were using the APEX name. Now, it's almost an internal joke how many brands/companies use APEX in various forms. We elected to not invest into making APEX our primary front-facing "brand" -- just a sub brand of TangentVector, our parent company. TangentVector has been around since 2009. We launched /DRIVE, then worked on NBC Sports, Hagerty, and various other networks. As a production company, we serve many different clients, now even now Top Gear. We decided to turn the old APEX channel into "TangentVector" -- the mothership brand that has been behind the scenes the whole time, just to avoid confusion with APEX. Will there be future APEX branded content under TangentVector? We hope so. Working on that now. APEX3 was essentially canned in 2020 with COVID. We've been regrouping since. A lot of our time recently has been focused on client work, but we hope to dedicate more time in 2024 to passion projects like APEX.

Same people behind the scenes. TangentVector is the mothership production company behind the scenes. See my earlier comment related to why we aren't branding things APEX anymore, at least not front and center. This video was just something fun we made to promote a new series we're making for Newsweek called Unconventional. Just some extra BTS content to share for fun!

I'd say that in like 62 years, the computers and mechanics will be at a level that there will be a legislation passed that with certain computer program and software, you do not have to crash physical cars anymore. Because that would be a waste of resources. And it can be accepted just to have a virtual crash test.
