Hey, i built my first drone, everything appears to be working and when i test the motors using my controller in beta flight it works correct. However i arm it and it says motor protocol under arming flags. I have tried looking online but its not really covered anywhere. Would be much appreciated if you could advise?

Yup. And all prop nuts should be built like wing nuts. Easy to tighten by the hand. Slight weight increase. But we are far past a gram of worry. And they have never needed a ratchet to get the correct torque. I’ll take 20% top line sales on a WRB.

RID is absolutely absurd to me to be honest BUT the thing that blows my mind the most is that you have to have a separate RID module for every drone that you have. WHY??? what the actual fuck is the purpose of having a separate module for each drone. my transmitter is capable of storing like 60+ individual models. why can i not have 60+ models and their individual registration numbers loaded into one single RID module that i can hot swap between models? hell im a small time hobbyist and even i have 5 different models that are flight worthy atm. i cant afford to buy 5 RID modules just so i can continue to fly the drones i already have

Hi Folks ! Great video ! Quick question : is it possible to bind the Radiomaster MT12 (4in1 version) to an esc for CT8A Remote Control. I've received a a RLAARLO Omni Terminator (Carbon Version) but I don't feel confident with the CT8A TX. I tried to bind the MT12 with this esc with the Radiolink protocol (Surface and Dumboc version) with no success. Thank you for your support by advance?

LTT say that their screwdriver has strong enough magnet to not leave bits in screws. Mads Tech has a review of it. And I personally love iFixit

Thanks for the video, love organization videos! I recently bought a holder for my omnifixo on Etsy. It’s pretty cool it can hold your iron, the magnetic arms, spool for solder, spot for brass and a holder for the iron when it’s hot. The omnifixo acts as the top and the base has magnets for it to stick.

You should check out the electric screwdriver from Vessel. I know you like your Dewalt gyro but the Vessel is a bit more nimble, would fit nicer in your case, and has a ball handle that allows a bit more control in the hand and an easier transition between quickly zooming screws in and finishing them by hand. I have one of their manual ball-grip bit holders and I swear by it. They do have a few different models of electric screw drivers that vary in usage. But Japanese brands have a cult following so there’s plenty of UKposts reviews that’ll tell you everything about their 3-4 models.

Hi folks. I have tried this but I don't get the AV IN option in my goggles for some reason. Went in every menus but nope... I know the module is powered on. The AV cable is plugged into my "headphone" port in my Goggles V2. I dont have any other port for such cables... Am I doing things right ? Thanks a lot in advance

are you sure you linked to the correct toolpouch? that one zips all the way down while the one at amazon is a different shape and zips more like a toiletry back, where you cannot fully open it up like in the video. they look similar because the velcro looks similar or is the same.

Electric Screwdriver like the one from XIAOMI is a necessity for my kit. It makes repair work soooo much quicker and easier.

The lumineer hex driver set is not worth the price. Ive had it for 4 months now and the allen key bit gets stuck in every screw for some reason. When you go to pull it out, the whole bit moves in and out because they have play and movement when inserted into the handle. Its just beyond annoying. Its got a magnet inside the handle for some reason because it already has a locking mechanism so bit just moves in and out when youre trying to pry the damn screw off of the allen key bit. I find myself using the allen key bits without the handle most of the time. Id recommend a high quality electric one 😂 don't buy this one bardwell is using

I keep my survival kit and first Aid in bag's exactly like that. you can find pretty cheap high quality First Aid bags that do exactly this.

I have that leathermen and it has a very mean pinch point when in pliers mode. It has bitten me several times.

I just use a soft-shell pencil case… they cost $5 and are usually build pretty tough.

I think I learned something…I think I learned I have jumped ahead and need to get back to the basics first.

I made one out of a military tear-away First Aid Kit pouch. The molle webbing system lets you swap in tool pouches, water bottle holders, etc on relatively cheap main backpacks as you need them instead of paying 3X the cost for a FPV specific bag. My latest useful find is a fold up "magazine dump pouch" to drop drained batteries into as I go instead of messing around trying to organize or put colored caps on them as I go. Attached right to the side of my $50 bag.

My guess, for the local, small, recreational drone pilot the FAA is of little concern. A small concern is your neighborhood Karen. Even then it's unlikely Karen has DroneScan on her phone. My local law enforcement agencies response is " please we have much bigger, real problems on a daily basis that keep us up at night". Ben flying is 2S around the canyons, more power to him. No one shows anything but interest in the aircraft when I fly. Show respect and your 99% there. RID isn't going away. Nor is it going to be mitigated in some way.

I have a question - have you ever met anyone that just could not learn to fly no matter what they practice or how much practice they put in? I uh, I mean someone I know never really got the hang of flying rc helicopters, could only fly with the tail straight at them, slowly, could kind of slow cruise a small area... so after a while that person just gave up. Thought quads would offer a chance to fly but it has not taken hold after hours and hours of practice... very discouraging but I love RC - have had lots of cars/trucks with good results and I really want to have some fun with this hobby. I have Liftoff, Velocidrone and a couple other flight sims... suck in those as well.

$70 for that driver is absolutely madness. It’s definitely just a rebranded Chinese tool u see everywhere on Amazon.

RaceDayQuads has a mini hex driver that I love in my travel pack. It’s $13 and stores all 4 bits in the handle nicely. I also travel with a leatherman, so I use that for Phillips/flat fasteners in the rare instances I need them in a drone.
