Everything about pride was so epic. Just absolutely juiced up monsters going through each other in the most violent way possible. I remember my uncle showing me these for the first time and my mind being blown at the actual lack of rules compared to the ufc or even one championship.

When you fight you lose brain cells. Thats a fact when it comes to martial arts. One to the noggin, one to the spleen. Mind goes unconscious, body can’t move. You can’t speak if ya brain can’t think. “TKO”. Thanks ref! 🏆

Hunts advantage is he will close the distance and if you swing on him and land he's going to absorb it and soon to follow is a monster counter punch.

Idiotyczny sport! Jeżeli zawodnik wyprowadza po nokaucie jeszcze 5-6 ciosów w nieprzytomnego przeciwnika to znaczy, że go nie szanuje.

Damn I've watched a lot of UFC and I guess I have a faint heart, I think the UFC should allow knees on the ground but there's something uniquely visceral about a dude loading up head kicks to a dude who's barely conscious, or doing a running jump and landing on a dude's face with the point of the heel. Respect to these bastards, call me soft but I would _never_ voluntarily fight with these rules.

Sigh... Pride was something special. I don't think I'll ever see something like it again. Top quality production, massive crowds in Japan, barely any rules, steroids practically allowed. It was magic.

Boxing will literally let a dude get knocked out up to two times a round for 5 rounds straight. At least in the UFC you get knocked out once and the fight is over.

If someone is clearly out and they go for ground and pound after, they should be disqualified and lose fight purse, that one immature decision could take a father away from his children or get left with severe brain damage. I love watching mma but theres certain things that need to change i think..... although..... in the last few years the refs have been so much quicker to respond to knockouts and stoppages. Thats good to see..... i get it btw, training camps for 4 months solid you gotta secure the win.
