NO - our lives are NOT longer as those in the past - Americans are living SHORTER lives than the generation before - because of Crony capitalism that literally sucks the life out of the people.

Steven Pinker is yet another Zionist supporter of the war-mongering profiteers - the Palestinians have suffered decades of abuse and apartheid on their own land which is being stolen from them. Any intellectual who is not a socialist is in fact a tool of the vicious corporate profiteers and a traitor to the vast majority of people. He and other pseudo-intellectuals like Thomas Sowell spent their careers convincing you why the rich and powerful should get even more power and money while everyone else lose. Don't buy it - get rid of the corporate shill infesting our educational institutions.

The suggestion is that to improve Healthspan, the factors for genomic instability, telomere dysfunction, epigenetic alterations, loss of proteostasis, compromise of autophagy, mitochondrial dysfunction, cellular senescence, stem cell exhaustion, altered intercellular communication and deregulated nutrient sensing should be targeted. Feel good analysis on this one. Very misleading for the vague explanation to the numbers and its distribution. This doesn’t lie but it is evasive and holographic about the truth. These cookies are bot sympathetically by everyone. We all have a warm feeling of empowering little girls to economy and self empowerment. They could have that taste of self empowerment but if doing it again, would probably feel the sharp sting of exploitation. This is a criminal racket for using child labor. If the revenues had even 49% to its specific troop, I would shut my face. Your troop is getting no more than 9% of these wildly overpriced cookies.

After a decade, there is no logical way of denying that the liberal policies have failed us. I do not think people realize how bad things have gotten in Canada in every single portfolio managed by this government. I wish the interviewer had done some research into Canada and been more informed before this interview, we could have maybe gotten some clarity as to why the PM still pushes policies that have directly made our lives worse.

Come on, they were _all_ Jewish. Every single name you mention was Jewish (except Schumpeter - Catholic, and maybe Klimt). You even name New York as a second Vienna: NY is the biggest Jewish city on earth. They both had/have a minority % of Jews, which completely dominate(d) all valuable and creative industries. Up to 12% in Vienna, but 15% (2023) - 25% (1950) in New York, yet they comprise(d) 30-40-50-60% of doctors, lawyers, bankers, ... had almost total control over many creative industries (music, theatre, art, writing, publishing,...) as well as various academic disciplines (economics, philosophy, math, ...) You mention Dichter for marketing, but not Bernays (Freud's nephew), who invented PR and propaganda. The _Vienna Circle_ of philosophers originated with Frank, Neurath and Hahn, but encompassed Wittgenstein, Popper, Tarski, Feigl, Bergmann, Menger, Kaufmann, Kraft, Waismann, Rand, Schächter, Zilsel and 'the other' von Mises. The Vienna Circle was contemporary with the _Frankfurt School._ I'm not saying it's bad, it is (was) certainly a bright flourishing of the intellect, and very positive for the US when many of them emigrated from Vienna. But the fact they were _all_ Jewish is a curious question that needs addressing, rather than avoiding. A second question might be what benefit did the US gain from all European migration caused by WWII, including pre-war exiles and post-war recruitment, like Werner von Braun. It might be tricky, but interesting, to disentangle the migration of the persecuted, motivated and gifted, from the pure economic expansion of the war effort, destruction of almost all other industry on the planet, and far-sighted polices like the Marshall Plan and the GI Bill. Then, perhaps compare WWII period with today - are the East and South Asian migrants as productive? (my hunch is enormously beneficial for the US, but not quite as significant as the WWII period). Finally, what would happen if that migration benefit was ever switched off (by US policy or foreign preferences) - hard to imagine at the current moment, but still interesting. Does the US actually have a dynamic population, _sans_ immigration? (e.g. some large % of startups have at least one foreign-born founder, and many more 2nd generation immigrants). Meanwhile, Austria ducks out of the defense of western civilization, as a free-rider, enclosed by, but not in, NATO. No wonder they are rich. Can you name a world-dominating Austrian company??? No, but they bank all their gains while the rest of us defend their perimeter.

This is a super interesting podcast. I can highly represent Stefan Zweig's autobiography. Equally tomorrow I will buy Richard's book. I'm excited to read it. During covid I rode my bicycle from Berlin to Vienna in search of what I might find there. In fact, the place was deserted and what is left is only an echo of the past. If I could go back in time I would go to Vienna in 1905 and experience it for myself. Indeed amazing how for a flicker of time a city may emerge as a beacon of enlightenment surrounded by a deeply conservative, rule bound, fascist land. Thank you so much for this.

Politics determines how wealth is distributed within a country, while wars and diplomacy determine how wealth is distributed between countries. These are not good outcomes of US government policies for US citizens: Economic inequality, inflation, stagnant real wages for the last fifty years, costly healthcare, an expensive education system, student loan debt totaling $1.7 trillion with an average balance of $38,000, poor public transportation systems, racial inequality, mass incarceration, the militarization of police, deteriorating infrastructure, housing affordability, homelessness, the opioid epidemic, and gun violence. The Chinese population does not enjoy any of the above issues. The IPSOS 2023 Global Happiness Level Report lists China at number one position with the happiest people in the world at 91%, with Saudi Arabia second at 86%. In the US, the wealthy dictate (lobbying, political donations, and pork-barrelling are legalized) government policies. In China, the wealthy have no special say in government policies. In China, the people cannot change their government, but they can change the government policies. In the West, the people can change their government, but they cannot change the government policies.

I do have to laugh at how gormless the gang at Freakonomics Radio appear to be. So Justin batted his blue eyes at you and you went weak in the knees? LMAO. Let me explain just a few of Trudeau's immense blunders: Trudeau ran immigration at 1.1% of total population for years when other nations felt 0.3% of population per year was possible excessive. As a result Canada is 4.5million family residences in arrears, in a country with about 14.5million residences. Now Trudeau claims he will instantly ramp from the national average of 200k homes built per year to 650k homes built per year. Multiply the number of construction workers in Canada by 3.2 and you get pretty much the entire male workforce. Is Trudeau going to pull a Pol Pot and empty the offices and hand out hammers? How gormless. Trudeau has refused to sell LNG to nations that want to get off coal. This has included Germany and Japan. Trudeau has refused to sell LNG to either nation. Trudeau has refused to sell LNG to Greece with is acting as a gateway for LNG sales to coal burning countries in the EU. Don't you sad folks at Freakonomics know that coal emits 50% more CO2 per kilwatt-hour of energy produced that LNG? How gormless. Charmed by Trudeau, the guy who tried to obtain a science degree twice and and who dropped out twice....LMAO

No activist should be allowed to hold a government position. Activists are driven by singular causes, the government is supposed to help everyone regardless of ideology/situation/class. Having activists in government is what is causing our problems today. Look at the mayors who are actively harming their citizens because they are activists only trying to help a certain cause at the expense of everyone, such as in Chicago, NYC, Dolton, LA, etc.. Plus the activist district attorneys that are harming society. Activists should remain out of government and positions of actual authority.

As a Canadian, thank you for the good discussion. You were able to get more direct answers from him than usual. I have to admit: I am still extremely suspicious of him and take everything he says with a grain of salt. The dental plan was not his gov't's idea. It came from the New Democrats who the Liberals need to be in coalition with to function as a house majority. Sad, but not surprised to see that he doesn't give credit where credit is due. There also appear to be a lot of issues with implementing it. His "big" budget fell completely on its face in a number of areas, including support for Canadians with disabilities. So much so that a disability expert advisor resigned. This is also a guy who ran primarily on promises of electorial reform in 2015, winning the votes of young people, to then go on and abandon the whole idea with little to no explanation. That left us in this two party system nightmare in Canada where it is more often than not picking the lesser of the two evils. Like now. I get that the Canadian politeness is refreshing, especially when compared with some of the more hostile political environments elsewhere but do not let that pull the wool over your eyes. Canadians are very aware of when politeness is fake or manipulative which non-Canadians probably do not have a keen eye for. Trudeau is a master at taking a strong stance on moral issues and signalling virtues but then failing to deliver anything concrete. Whether I agree with his stance or not, I am never sure if he is just doing it for the popularity or if he actually cares. He has had countless scandals that he never seems to want to or have to be accountable for, really just highlighting the privelege that he claims to be so woke and aware of. Unfortunately, I could go on. I am sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but Canada is not this utopia under Trudeau, and things really have gotten worse. To the point that I barely recognize my home. Granted, it is not entirely his or his gov't's fault but they do have a responsibility to Canadians to not make it worse... and from my perspective and from that of many Canadians, they have done just that. He loves to claim that Poillievre is using populist tactics and inciting fear. Look, I don't really think the guy will do much better for our country. He might just drive us off the same cliff but with a different car. But, I can say with certainty that he is only tapping into the frustration, fear, and anger that is already there.
